With the implementation of the State Council's Implementation Opinions on Promoting the Development Strategy of the Yangtze River Economic Belt by the Golden Waterway in September 2014,the regional development of the Yangtze River Economic Belt has been upgraded to a national strategy, clarifying that the Yangtze River Economic Belt is developing a green development path.Developing forest park tourism is the main way of green development. It is not only a powerful grasp of ecological environment protection, but also promotes the development of tourism industry and promotes economic growth. However, the provinces and cities in the Yangtze River Economic Belt are affected by factors such as economy, resource endowment, geographical location, traffic conditions and infrastructure. There is a big gap in the development of forest park tourism. Therefore, research on the tourism efficiency of the forest park in the Yangtze River Economic Belt will be carried out to provide reference for development. At present, the research on tourism efficiency of forest parks at home and abroad is only carried out unilaterally, only a single model is selected, and no in-depth study is conducted. The scope of the study is either nationally based or limited to a single province, with few interregional comprehensive comparative studies.Based on this, based on the research results of other scholars, this paper systematically analyzes the tourism efficiency of the forest park in the Yangtze River Economic Belt from the two dimensions of time and space.Using data envelopment analysis method and spatial autocorrelation analysis method, the main conclusions are as follows: :1 From a general point of view, the comprehensive efficiency and pure technical efficiency of forest parks in the Yangtze River Economic Belt in 2010–2017 are relatively low,and the scale efficiency is relatively high compared with the former two;the capital investment is excessively redundant, and the tourism income output is seriously insufficient. The overall spatial autocorrelation of tourism comprehensive efficiency is not significant, and the internal provinces and municipalities are independent;the local auto-correlation of tourism comprehensive efficiency is not significant. In 2010,only in Jiangxi and 2015,Chongqing and related provinces and cities showed correlation.2 From a regional perspective, the overall efficiency of forest park tourism in the upper reaches of 2010–2017 is the highest, and the comprehensive efficiency of forest parks in the middle reaches is the lowest, and the comprehensive efficiency of forest parks in the lower reaches is middle.3 From the provincial and municipal perspectives, there are two provinces and cities with effective comprehensive forest tourism efficiency in the Yangtze River Economic Belt, namely Shanghai and Zhejiang;the remaining nine ineffective provinces and cities except Chongqing and Jiangsu are purely technically efficient and the remaining provinces and cities.Pure technical efficiency and scale efficiency are ineffective. Finally, based on the conclusions, four suggestions are proposed: 1 In terms of improving the efficiency of pure technology,it is necessary to strengthen training, improve the service level of employees, and guide the rational input of capital.2 In terms of improving scale efficiency,it is necessary to strengthen the construction of information platform;explore the appropriate scale of tourism in forest parks.3 Promote technological innovation, cultivate practical talents;increase investment in research funds;learn and introduce advanced technologies at home and abroad.4 To promote coordinated development,it is necessary to open up barriers to communication between various regions;adhere to green development ideas and coordinate development.
