With the globalization of the world economy and the continuous development of international trade,trade between China and the rest of the world has become more frequent.The number of imported and exported animal and animal products is increasing,and the risk of transmission of animal diseases has also increased.Entry animal quarantine is an important link to prevent foreign animal diseases from flowing into China.It is of great significance to protect the sound development of China’s animal husbandry,bio-safety and economic development.This study carried out port quarantine on three batches of inbound pigs(680 heads)and three batches of inbound sheep(1014 heads),including on-site quarantine and isolation quarantine,and made relevant suggestions on the problems found during the quarantine process.On-site quarantine conducts clinical examinations after checking the health certificates and transportation records of inbound pigs and sheep.During clinical examination,the mental state,standing or supine state,coat,natural holes and excrement,skin and mucous membranes are observed.All animals that were quarantined on site did not find any abnormality and were deemed to be qualified.After 7 days of feeding in the isolation field,all pigs and sheep blood samples were laboratory quarantined.The results of ELISA showed that all blood samples were negative for the initial detection of brucellosis;two positive sera were detected in three batches of pseudorabies.Negative test;the first batch of 280 pig blue ear disease using INgezim PRRS 2.0 kit(INGENSA company)detected 152 positive serum,the pass rate was only 45.7%,using the ID Screen PRRS Indirect kit recommended by the country of origin of the entry pig(ID.Vet)was re-examined,and 152 initial positive serums were all negative.All the 280 pigs in the first batch were released and tracked for 1 month.After the production,there was no disease.All the pigs in the farm did not have the incidence of blue ear disease,indicating that the reagents produced by ID.Vet were Quarantine of blue-ear disease is more accurate.During the laboratory quarantine process of the three batches of imported sheep,a total of 14 positive samples were detected in the initial inspection of sheep red feather disease.The corresponding sheep were re-extracted and 4 positive samples were detected.The corresponding 4 sheep were placed in the isolation field.No obvious clinical symptoms of Akabane infection were found in the quarantine;2 positive samples were detected in the initial examination of mucosal disease,and the corresponding sheep were re-extracted and 1 was still positive.The mucosal positive sheep were only positive.Akabane disease was negative,and no obvious mucosal symptoms were found in the clinical diagnosis of the isolation field.Four red-featherpositive sheep and one mucosal-positive sheep were culled and destroyed,and the remaining 1009 sheep were all released.This study found that in the actual work of the current port quarantine,there are the following problems: quarantine of a variety of Class Ⅱ diseases on the same blood sample,and animals that need to be culled and destroyed for a certain disease review are still carrying out other Class Ⅱ Parallel quarantine of the disease.The second is that the first-stage epidemic disease is positive,and the animals that are negative for reexamination are not followed up and recommended for isolation.The third is that the animal serum is not processed separately,and the same tube serum is repeatedly taken during a variety of epidemic diseases,which affects the accuracy of the quarantine results.Fourth,the kits used are basically imported kits,and we need to increase our research and development efforts.Fifth,there may be problems in the detection of the kit not applicable.The kit to be used should be calibrated before the test.The type of quarantine disease and the selection of the kit should be different depending on the country of origin.In summary,the pass rate of brucellosis,blue ear disease and pseudorabies in the three batches of imported pigs(680 heads)was 100%;the detection of three batches of imported sheep(1014 heads)Among them,the test results of 1010 sheep red feather disease were negative,the pass rate was 99.6%,the test result of mucosal disease of 1013 sheep was negative,the pass rate was 99.9%,the test of red feather disease and mucosal disease was 1009 heads,the total qualified rate was 99.5.%;The test results of the kits used for the first time in the detection of swine blue ear disease are inaccurate,so the calibration of the test kit is necessary before the quarantine;the system in the port animal quarantine remains to be improved.
