Investigation And Analysis On Reproductive Performance Of French Maternal Pigs In China

France pig genetics is one of the provider which can provide good quality of maternal line,France genetics is famous on its high pro-ductivity and high homogenous in the world.The maternal line in France including Large white and Landrace.As report goes,the PSY of maternal Large white has already adapted to 31,the F1 gilts have already adapted to 33.With the growing of France genetics importation,the percentage of France genetics in china pig production industry comes bigger.To under-stand well the pig genetics evaluation system of France,the selection characteristic of maternal line,the performance after exported to chin.etc.This study through visiting,technical meeting,phone meeting to do research in china.According to the import database from 2000 to 2017,visit the major importer from France,collect data,compare to the France Genetics company,analysis the difference,so that we can provide a source of inspiration for china farmers.1.This Study started from Nov.2015,did survey on France pig genetics evaluation system,selection characters in Maternal line from the TOP 4 genetics companies in France.Did survey on the maternal per-formance of 7 china importers which imported genetics from France from 2000 to 2017.2.During the survey from 2015 to 2018,through visiting,video meet-ing,phone meeting to do survey on pig genetics evaluation system and selection characters from TOP 4 exporters of France genetics,such as Cooperl Nucleus,AXIOM,Hypor,Choice Genetics.The research result is that The France Agriculture department lead the association of France pig registration,IFIP and INRA to set up the genetics evaluation system and database,work with the TOP 4 genetics company and National AI center to transfer genes and set up the con-nection of genes.So the France government lead the nation genetics connection and database in France,the selection characters of maternal line are that they put 55%to select maternal quality,including NO.born alive,birth weight,homogenous,put 45%to select terminal performance.As survey goes,the PSY of maternal Large white is around 32,the PSY of maternal Landrace is around 29,is better than the maternal per-formance of china genetics company.3.During the survey from 2015 to 2018,did survey to the importers who imported animals from 2000 to 2017,visited one Beijing Breeding company,Hypor china farm,one company in Wuhan,one group in Jiang-xi,one husbandry in Hebei,one group in Shandong,one international genetics company in Henan,did study on maternal performance of Large white and Landrace.The research result is that one company in Beijing which imported France animals in 2000,the NO.born alive of maternal Large white is 11 piglets to 12 piglets,NO.weaned 7.2 piglets to 8.2 piglets at 21 days;The JV of Hypor imported animals from Hypor in 2012,the NO.born alive of maternal line is 12 piglets to 13 piglets in china,NO.weaned 10.5 piglets to 11 piglets,weaned at 23 days to 26days,PSY = 26?27;one husbandry company in Wuhan which had imported France genetics in 2011,the NO.born alive of maternal Large white is 9.79,weaned at 21 days;one group in Jiangxi which imported from AXIOM in 2013,the NO.born alive of maternal Largewhite is 12.6?12.8 piglest;one husbandry company which imported Cooperl Nucleus genetics in 2011,the NO.born alive is around 14 piglets;one group in Shandong which imported Cooperl Nucleus genetics in 2013,the total born is 16.46 piglets per litter,NO.born alive of maternal Large white is 14.39 piglets per litter,NO.weaned is 11.68 piglets per litter in Large white;the total born of maternal Land-race is 14.41 piglets per litter,NO.born alive is 12.9 piglets per litter,NO.weaned is 13.95 piglets per litter;one international genetics company which imported Nucleus genetics in 2015,average NO.born alive 14.5 piglets per litter,NO.weaned 13.5 piglets per litter of maternal large white;average NO.born alive 14.1 piglets per litter,average NO.weaned 13 piglets,the health status of this farm is PRV negative,PRRS negative.So we can see that the maternal performance of France genetics which imported after 2010 is more better than companies imported before 2010,maybe also due to the design,building,farm management at that time;the NO.born alive of maternal lines which imported after 2010 are around 12 piglets,some company which has high health status,they got PRV negative,PRRS negative,so the maternal performance of their farm are quite good.The result of the study shows that the maternal performance such as the NO.Born alive,NO.weaned of France maternal line are good,the maternal performance of genetics which imported from France and feed in china are different for the design,building,farm management,bio-security,but the higher health status the higher performance in that farm.
