Design And Application Of Commercial Broiler Cage House

Based on the present situation of broiler breeding in China and the inspection of various visits,according to the defects found in the practical use of the existing design,the optimum size of the chicken house and the reasonable equipment selection were determined,and the heating mode of the cage house was determined.The design of cage ventilation and ventilation pipe has been improved.Based on Hebei Kangda Livestock and Poultry breeding Co.,Ltd.,a comparative experiment was carried out between commercial broiler cage and mesh flat culture.The results are as follows:1.The size of commercial broiler house and cage was 70 m long,12 m wide and 2.6 m high.13500 broilers were raised in batches.Cage size is 70 cm,cage spacing is 40 cm,three series of six small columns.There were 135 groups of chicken cages in the whole house,with 1620 cages,9 chickens per cage,four channels,two channels with a width of 1.5m in the middle,and a width of 1.65 m in the channels of both sides.2.Chicken house equipment configuration: a 400000 kcal biomass water heater,18 radiators,8 50-inch exhaust fans,2 36-inch exhaust fans per unit with an exhaust volume of 19800 m3,and a 42m2 water curtain,The ventilation window is 60(0.27m*0.56m),the ventilation tube is 60(diameter is 0.2m),is equipped with three longitudinal defecation conveyer belt and one transverse defecation conveyer belt.3.The results of commercial broiler cage rearing and net flat rearing showed that: commercial broiler cage house raised 69% compared with the same area net chicken house,but the expenditure of artificial,hydropower and energy consumption did not increase obviously,and the weight increased 92 g at the end of the period;The feed compensation was decreased by 0.03,and the survival rate was increased by 1.1%.The cost of each chicken was reduced by 0.1 yuan,and the net profit per chicken increased by 1.45 yuan.To sum up,commercial broiler caged chicken coop has the characteristics of saving cultivated land,small investment,short breeding period,low cost,quick effect and high return,which is suitable for wide application and popularization in rural areas.
