Seed metering device is one of the essential parts of precision seeder,and the quality of seeding is determined by the performance of seed metering device.Finger-type metering device is a kind of mechanical seed metering device,which is used for maize sowing,and its structural design is complex and has many influencing factors.In this paper,the physical characteristics of single 4th maize seeds were tested,and the test results provided a theoretical basis for the metering performance of the finger-type seed-metering device.The paper analyzes the structure and working principle of the finger-type seed-metering device,and the force of the maize seeds during the process of the movement,and gets the clamping pressure to decrease and then increase with the increase of working speed.In order to study the effect of seed plate material on the performance of seed nesting,rubber and plastics were used as additional materials of seed plate,and test of seed performance was carried out.The test results show that:the qualified index of the seed-metering device with rubber mat is 87.91%,the replay index is 8.23%,the leakage index is 3.92%,the seeding device with plastic pad is 83.24%,the replay index is 11.31%,the leakage index is 5.57%,and both kinds of materials meet the requirements of agricultural operation.By contrast,the rubber material is selected as the additional material for the row type disk.When testing the test bed,is generally based on 3 indicators(respectively,the rate of leakage,rate,and replay rate),that is,3 different factors are generally launched a single factor test(respectively,amplitude,frequency,and speed of seed-metering disk,etc.),This makes it clear that the performance of the metering device can be affected by the above factors,The orthogonal test design method can carry on the horizontal orthogonal test,and is three factor three level,and after obtains the data result to carry on the scientific extreme difference and the variance analysis,thus can the seed metering device row Bell performance to be affected by the different factor size to rank.Through analysis,a combination parameter with excellent performance of seed metering device is obtained:Seeding speed is 4km/h,amplitude is 6mm,vibration frequency is 14Hz.Under such conditions,the missing seeding index is 3.53%,the maize single Grain qualified index is 90.71%,which can achieve high quality agricultural technology sowing.
