This article studied the change of soil fertility, enzyme activity and the effects of crop yield on different returning stalks and fertiliers based on the long-term experiment, aimed to reveal the change of soil fertility, enzyme activity and of field yield on the long-term returning stalks and soil fertility and provide theoretical support for the high-efficient and high-yield crop cultivation. The main conclusions were as follows:(1)Under the wheat-maize double cropping system, the yield of wheat and corn increased significantly on the long-term experiment of straw returning to the field and organic fertilizer application. The increase of wheat yield was mainly due to the increase of number of ears per unit area, while the increase of corn yield was mainly due to the increase of number of ears.(2)Straw returning and organic fertilizer significantly increased the content of soil nutrients, and the content of 0-20cm of nutrients was significantly higher than 20-40cm.The treatments increased the activity of invertase and urease, while had little effect on the activity of catalase.(3)Straw returning and different fertilization all reduced soil bulk density, among which straw returning to the field and organic fertilizer was the most obvious. The maximum extent of surface subsidence was observed between different soil layers.(4)Enzyme activity was closely related to nutrient factors. The correlation analysis showed that invertase is closely related to total nitrogen and organic matter, and all of them are significantly correlated. The activity of invertase increaseed with the increasing of organic matter. Therefore, the evaluation of soil fertility should take into account nutrient factors and enzyme activity comprehensively.
