Research On the Effect of Variuos Kinds of Compound Fertilizers for VegetablesXie Gong-ting(Huazhong Agricultural University, Wuhan P.R.China, 430070)This research was carried with the experiments of potted plant, field plant and nutrient releasing from compound fertilizers; Differences of various kinds of compound fertilizes in yield, quality of vegetables, soil fertility and nutrient releasing of used fertilizers had been studied. By way of planting three various kinds of vegetables (fruit, root, leaf vegetable), the yield, quality and the amount of NPK in three kinds of vegetables were ditermined and organic matter , available nitrogen , phosphorus, potassium were compared after applying several kinds of compound fertilizers for two times . The effect to vegetables and soil from various kinds of compound fertilizers and various amount of fertilizer application were sysmatically studied The amount of NN PaOs, K2O for used fertilizers and the physicochemical properties of soil had been assayed before making these experiments. Compared with various kinds of compound fertilizers , compound fertilizer IV was the best one; The main advantages were as follow:1 Yield: The yield of vegetables increased remarkablely. By way of equal nitrogen , phosphorus, potassium , In the expriments of various kinds of compound fertilizers, compared with compound fertilizer I, the yield of vegetables grown with compound fertilizer IV increased obviously , the scope of which was 14.0-22.3 %; The scope was various in different kinds of vegetables; Cabbage was with the increase scope of 22.3 %, cowpea with 14.6% and raddish with 14.0 %, all of which reached significance at the 0.01 level.2 Qualities: The qualities of vegetables grown with compound fertilizer IV were better in higher amount of sugar , Vc and less rate of heavy metals and nitrate for the root, fruit vegetables, but a little higher amount of nitrate in leaf vegetables, Compared the vegetables grown with compound fertilizer I.3 Physiological activity:: The CAT activity of vegetables grown with compound fertilizer IV was nearly two times compared with the vegetables grown with compound fertilizer I. When vegetables were harvested. CAT activity was tested. When harvesting the vegetable, we found the vegetables cultivated with compound fertilizer IV looked dark green, not easily to be early aging.4 The rate of application fertilizers: It was proper for leaf vegetables with about 1500 kg/hm2, 1800 kg/hm2 for fruit vegetables, 1500 kg/hm2 for root vegetables.5 Dissolving and releasing of the fertilizer nutriets: The phosphorus of compound fertilizer IVreleased quicker than compound fertilizer I, which was good for vegetables to need more phosphorus in early stage.6 Nutrient absorption: Through analysing the content of three kinds of vegetables , the vegetables grown with compound fertilizer IV contained higher amount of nitrogen with the increase scope of 28.6 % for cowpea ,20.0 % for raddish ,14.7 % for cabbage and higher amount of potassium with the increase scope of 11.4 % for cowpea, 33.3 % for raddish and 47.3 % for cabbage, compared with the vegetable planted with compound fertilizer I . whereas content of phosphorus in three kinds of vegetables was of little difference.7 Soil improving : By way of applying compound fertilizer IV for two seasons , the determination for soil organic matter, available nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium had been carried and organic matter increased by 11.8 %; compound fertilizer IV for vegetables was very good for improving soil fertility.
