With the excessive application of chemical fertilizers, problems such as agricultural non-point source pollution and declining quality of agricultural products have become increasingly serious. The public has become increasingly concerned about issues such as crop growth environment and quality of agricultural products. The use of safe,high-quality organic materials to improve soil fertility and improve the quality of agricultural products, and to explore scientific fertilization techniques and measures that are conducive to the reduction of chemical fertilizer application are urgent issues in agricultural production. Therefore,in this study, rice field cultivation trials in Tieling Kaiyuan,Fuxin Zhangwu, and Dalian Zhuanghe were conducted in Liaoning province.Conventional fertilizers(CF),conventional fertilizers, nitrogen reduction(RF),and monosodium glutamate were used as substitutes.Effects of 50%chemical nitrogen fertilizer(50% GM)and MSG replacement of 100% chemical nitrogen fertilizer(100% GM)on soil nutrient status, rice yield, yield composition, rice quality, etc. The differences in soil nutrients, rice yield and quality between different fertilization treatments were compared, and the feasibility and practicality of using monosodium glutamate instead of chemical nitrogen fertilizer in rice production were clarified. This article provided data support and theoretical basis for the application and popularization of fertilization technology of application of fertilizer with monosodium glutamate residue in paddy field. The research results have important theoretical and practical significance for promoting the diversification of the utilization of monosodium glutamate residues, the effective control of agricultural non-point source pollution and the improvement of crop quality. The main results and conclusions obtained are as follows:1.Reduction application of chemical nitrogen fertilizer and combined with monosodium glutamate residue had certain effects on soil nutrients. The effects of different fertilization treatments on the soil available N,available P and available K did not reach a significant level..Direct reduction of 20% chemical nitrogen fertilizer had no significant effect on soil pH and soil organic matter.Under the condition of equal nitrogen content, the soil pH decreased with increasing application amount of monosodium glutamate residue, with adecrease of 0.08 to 0.40(P<0.01).The content of organic matter increased with increasing application amount of monosodium glutamate residue, with an increase of 9.1% to 24.5%(P<0.01).Three experimental fields had a certain potential for nitrogen reduction.2.Reduction application of chemical nitrogen fertilizer and combined with monosodium glutamate residue had no significant effect on rice yield, but significantly increased rice seed-setting rate and 1000-grain weight.Compared with CF,the fertility rate of rice treated with monosodium glutamate residue was increased by 12.1%~18.3%;the increase of1000-grain weight was 2.4%~8.3%,and the difference between treatment in Kaiyuan and Zhangwu was significant.3.Reduction application of chemical nitrogen fertilizer and combined with monosodium glutamate residue significantly improved the appearance quality of rice.Compared with CF,the head rice rate increased by 3.5%~28.3% treated with monosodium glutamate residue, and the difference between treated with monosodium glutamate residue and CF treatment in Kaiyuan was extremely significant. The chalkiness rate of rice treated with monosodium glutamate residue was reduced by 4.4%~46.4%,and the difference between treated with monosodium glutamate residue and RF treatment reached a significant level.4.Reduction application of chemical nitrogen fertilizer and combined with monosodium glutamate residue significantly increased the content of amylose, protein and zinc in rice.Compared with CF,the zinc content of rice treated with monosodium glutamate residue increased by 8.6%~21.3%(P<0.05),protein content increased by 3.7%~25.7%(P<0.05),and amylose content decreased by 1.4%~8.6%(P<0.01).
