China is a country with a long history of agriculture.It has a large variety of crops,a wide range of distribution areas,and a huge number of crops.It is a large producer of crop straw resources.Among them,sweet sorghum has a wide area of cultivation and high yield per unit area.As a forage,sugar and energy crop,sweet sorghum has great development value,the palatability of sweet sorghum is better than that of green-fed corn,and the function of energy feed,sweet sorghum is paid more and more attention as an important biological resource.In recent years,the incineration of straw has caused a lot of waste of resources and environmental pollution.In order to maximize the utilization of straw resources,it is of great significance to study the shear characteristics of sweet sorghum stalks for its effective utilization and processing machinery.Therefore,this paper designed a reciprocating cutting test bench that can simulate the cutting process of straw cutting.The cutting speed,feeding speed,moisture content of straw and other factors that affect the cutting performance,finding the optimal combination of these factors to reduce cutting power consumption.On the reciprocating cutting test bench,sweet sorghum was used as the research object,and the cutting speed,feeding speed,and moisture content of the straw were the experimental factors.The shearing force consumption and shear force were used as performance testing indexes,according to the surface response method(Central composite design,CCD)design the test plan to carry out the experiment.The results show that the feeding speed has a great influence on the working performance of the cutter test bench;the cutting speed and the moisture content of the straw have a significant influence on the working performance of the cutter test bench;The primary and secondary order of factors that affect the Working performance of cutting test bench is: feeding speed,cutting speed,moisture content of straw,and the optimum performance parameters are is feeding speed 5m/s,cutting speed 0.95m/s,straw moisture content 60%.Shear test of sweet forage sweet sorghum,the shear test of forage sweet sorghum straw was carried out to explore the influence of the working parameters of straw reciprocating cutter and the harvesting conditions of sweet sorghum on the cutting characteristics.
