At present,the extensive development of agricultural economy is obvious in China,the agricultural ecological environment deterioration becomes more and more serious,causing the carrying capacity of agricultural ecological environment is declining and the contradiction is increasingly severe between the sustainable development of agricultural economy and the construction of "two-orient society".Therefore,great importance should be attached urgently to the coordinated development of agricultural ecological environment and economic growth.In view of this,based on panel data in 13 provinces of major grain producing areas from 2003 to 2015,this paper analyzes the coupling and coordinated development level of the agricultural ecological environment and economic growth.Then,influencing factors of coupling and coordinated development are studied by using Panel FMOLS and the quantile regression model.Lastly,relevant policy suggestions are put forward.Firstly,the current situation and interaction mechanism of agricultural ecological environment and economic growth in 13 provinces of major grain producing areas are analyzed.Secondly,the target system of agricultural ecological environment and economic growth is constructed.Thirdly,evaluation index weight of the agricultural ecological environment’s and economic growth’s coupling system is determined from two aspects of subjective and objective by using attribute hierarchical mode and entropy weighting method,and coupling coordination model is built to quantify the development level of coupling coordination in main grain production area.Then,influencing factors of coupling and coordinated development of the agricultural ecological environment and economic growth are studied by using Panel FMOLS and the quantile regression model.Lastly,the research results are summarized to draw conclusions,and improvement measures or suggestions for specific problems are put forward.The conclusions: from the point of comprehensive development level,Heilongjiang and Henan have a good level of agricultural ecological environment among 13 provinces of major grain producing areas.Hebei,Inner Mongolia,Liaoning,Jilin,Anhui,Jiangxi,Shandong,Hubei,Hunan and Sichuan are in general.The level of agricultural ecological environment is lower in Jiangsu.The level of agricultural economic growth is better in Jiangsu and Hunan,but general in rest provinces.In terms of the temporal coupling coordination,the coupling and coordinated development of agricultural ecological environment and economic growth have the highest level in Heilongjiang and Sichuan.Hebei,Inner Mongolia,Jilin,Anhui,Jiangxi,Shandong,Henan,Hubei and Hunan are the next.Liaoning and Jiangsu is relatively low.As for the spatial coupling coordination,the level of coupling and coordinated development from high to low are Huanghuaihai area,the middle and lower reaches of Yangtze river andnortheast region.The convergence results indicate that though in some years,certain? convergence exist in coupling coordination degree among provinces in northeast area,Huanghuai area and the middle and lower reaches of Yangtze river,the overall gap of the coupling and coordinated development level between provinces of each region is widening.By analyzing influencing factors of coupling and coordinated development of the agricultural ecological environment and economic growth,conclusions can be drew.As for the results of FMOLS regression,the level of economic development,environmental protection investment and agricultural infrastructure have a big impact on coupling and coordinated development.However,industrial structure,ecological environment level,agricultural science and technology level have failed to pass the significance testing.From the point of the quantile regression results,economic development level,industrial structure,ecological environment level and agricultural infrastructure have significant influence on the coupling and coordinated development at each quantile;the environmental protection investment has significant effect on the coupling and coordinated development at each quantile except at 0.3.The level of agricultural science and technology has significant effect only at 0.2 and 0.3.The result shows that the variables,which passed the significance testing at each quantile,have a good help on the coupling and coordinated development except the level of economic development.
