Nowadays,the development of agriculture is an important strategy for the country's development in China,the water shortages and other issues that we face are also becoming increasingly serious.Water shortages in the northwestern region such as Ningxia province are even more serious,and most farmers still use flood irrigation methods.It not only wastes water but also uses water inefficiently.Therefore,with the continuous development of science and technology,intelligent water-saving irrigation technology based on the Networking technology,using technological methods to solve the problem of waste of water resources and rising labor costs.The development of intelligent water-saving irrigation technology has already become the trend and necessity of the future development of our agriculture.This is also the most powerful support for the "Green Hills" strategy advocated by our country and the essential way for China's sustainable agricultural development.Farmland water-saving irrigation technology mainly consists of four aspects: ZigBee wireless transmission technology,programmable logic controller PLC technology,fuzzy control expert system and host computer configuration.ZigBee wireless transmission technology collects data through the soil moisture content,air temperature and humidity sensor nodes installed in farmland,and transmits data through wireless networking with routers and coordinators,and eventually reaches the coordinator.The coordinator transfers the aggregated data to the upper computer;programmable logic controller PLC technology is the transfer station of this system,it functions as a transfer of ZigBee acquisition information,data format conversion,upper computer connection and valve control functions;fuzzy control expert system is expert knowledge entered manually in the system and combines the crop information of the same period,deriving important guiding parameters such as evapotranspiration volume and empirical irrigation time.Because farmland irrigation is a large time-lag complex system,fuzzy control is used to combine the empirical values of the expert system with real-time soil moisture content,using fuzzy control to get accurate irrigation time;the host computer configuration uses Kingview software to display the soil moisture content and air temperature and humidity in real-time on the graphics screen,and has the functions of inputting and querying expert knowledge,real-time curve query,and valve manual control.The main research results of this paper are as follows:(1)Realization of program and hardware design for the ZigBee soil moisture content,the air temperature and humidity sensor nodes,routers,and coordinators with the core of CC2530 chip,it makes the ZigBee wireless transmission technology stable and reliable;(2)Realization of ZigBee data in the PLC data conversion and register storage program design,it enables the data to be correctly identified by the host computer;(3)Design of agricultural expert system based on crop information,weather,soil,hydrology information,effective and intelligent combination of expert experience and real situation of corps;(4)Design of the simulation system for water-saving irrigation through fuzzy PID control.Simulation and farmland tests show that the system has good stability and low cost,and can achieve the prospected results.
