In these years,the agricultural has gradually absorbed the technology of electronic,Internet,wireless communication and sensing technology with the rapid developing field of electronic communication which was stepping forward towards the intelligent,automatic,unmanned and precise direction.The added modern electronic technology undoubtedly will bring the great reform and innovation to the agricultural with the significant benefits.The new technology not only can easily manage the modern agricultural,but also could save a mass of resources.At the same time,the new irrigation system also can provide the most comfortable and appropriate biological conditions for the growth and breeding of crops,thus which can promote agricultural overall profits and reduce the related cost.As we all know,water resources are the necessary conditions for the survival of animals and plants on the earth.The insufficient utilization of water resources and drought are the important factors restricting the agricultural production in China.When comes to the total water resources,China benefits too much however the per capita water resources rate is relatively low because of the large population.Considering the agricultural irrigation areas,China is still in the stage of artificial irrigation which possesses the low utilization rate and the serious waste rate of water resources,this is extremely hinders the development of agriculture in our country.In this paper,the wireless communication technology based on ZigBee,combined with the GPRS remote control technology,was utilized to build a set of intelligent automation crops irrigation system using solar energy as the energy supplier.This very system possesses the multi-functional characters including monitoring the temperature and humidity of soil and air temperature.The farmers can analyze the data and refer to the types of crops to make a flexible set of irrigation plan as their own needs.It may provide the most suitable environment for the plants and greatly ensure the growth and healthy of crops.The type of sprinkler irrigation is used in this system to improve the utilization of water resources which has reached more than ninety percent.It is the future direction of the development on China's agricultural irrigation and could provide a feasible program of water-saving agricultural irrigation.The main feature of this paper is remote control,intelligent and automatic water-saving irrigation.The main work of the thesis is as follows: 1.According to analyzing the present situation of the domestic and foreign agricultural irrigation,as well predicting the future development direction of agricultural irrigation system,we herein combined it with the overall demand of modern agriculture and confirmed the functions and features required in the system.At last the overall scheme was succeeded to be achieved by combining hardware and software modules.2.Considering the system functions and features,as well as the design scheme,we select ZigBee wireless communication protocol combined with GPRS remote communication protocol and use the sensors for collecting useful information,then we summary and apply the data for controlling the solenoid valve on sprinkling irrigation.3.According to the characteristics of ZigBee wireless sensor technology,the working principle diagram of the irrigation system is designed reasonably,at the same time the nodes are assigned and distributed scientifically.4.The hardware system circuits we designed were succeeded to be made and had passed the test in the real environment,based on which we designed the related software for the system.5.The temperature and humidity data of the real field was successfully collected and utilized for setting the irrigation time.On the other hand,the effective distance of transmission and control was also tested.In the end the system has been accomplished In accordance with the idea before.In order to solve the current situation of agricultural irrigation production in China nowadays,we succeeded in building the agricultural irrigation system combined with the sensor technology,which satisfied the actual needs of irrigation and gradually achieved the goal of automation and intelligence.The system has successfully passed the practical test.We herein predict that this system is expected in the future and there will be a big demand in the market.
