RBC?red blood cells?storage lesion,which is a series of biochemical and biomechanical changes that occur in the RBC during preservation,and oxidative damage caused by oxygen free radicals play an important role on it.Antioxidant ASTA?antioxidant astaxanthin?can effectively remove oxygen free radicals to protects RBC.At present,scholars have demonstrated that ASTA can improve the storage quality of red blood cells by inhibiting the oxidative stress level.To study the effects of antioxidant astaxanthin?ASTA?on the storage quality of beagle whole blood preservation by adding ASTA into CPDA-2 solution.To contrast the effects of ACD-A,ACD-B,CPD,CP2D,CPDA-1 and CPDA-2solution on the storage quality of beagle whole blood preservation by measuring plasma free hemogoglobin,Na+concentration,K+concentration,C l-concentration,whole blood lactic acid concentration and blood ammonia concentration of sample,which on 0day,7day,14day and 21day.And To contrast The effects of different concentrations of astaxanthin on the preservation of whole blood were detected by the same method.The results show that free hemoglobin concentration of CPDA-1 and CPDA-2group is the lowest and have obvious difference with the other group,what is more,this two group are rising lowster than others.K+concentration increase d uring the preservation,and CPDA-2 group is the least.Compare with different concentrations of astaxanthin is added to CPDA-2 solution with 5?mol·L-1,10?mol·L-1,20?mol·L-1.Results show that the contents of plasma free hemogoglobin,Na+concentration,K+concentration,C l+concentration,whole blood lactic acid concentration and blood ammonia concentration also increase during the preservation.The concentration of plasma free hemogoglobin in the 10?mol·L-1 group is lower than that in other groups at the same time point:the concentration was significantly different from the control group on 35 day.The concentration of blood ammonia in10?mol·L-1 group is the lowest on 35 day,and there was significant difference with other groups.However,the results of the K+concentration show the concentration of20?mol·L-1 is the lowest on 35 day,which is significantly different from the control group.There is no significant difference in the concentration of C l-?p>0.05?.It is concluded that CPDA-1 and CPDA-2 solution is superior to other preservation groups in six different blood preservation solutions.Astaxanthin could improve the quality of blood preservation,although different concentrations of astaxanthin have a better effect on the blood preservation,10?mol·L-1 group is best.
