| Manglietia lucida B.L.Chen et S.C.Yang is a giant tree of Magnoliaceae,which is a unique plant in Yunnan,China.M.lucida is basically still in the wild state,very little resources.Due to the deterioration of the living environment,coupled with its own reproductive capacity is weak,its survival has suffered a serious test,in 2016 the latest version of Magnolia Red protection list,was classified as endangered species(EN).Because of its beautiful tree,colorful flower,rich floral characteristics,M.lucida mulberry has a high landscape,garden ornamental value.In order to alleviate this contradiction,this study has carried out the research on the seed storage,germination,seeding propagation,container breeding and grafting techniques of M.lucida,and draws the following conclusions:1.The average length,width and thickness of M.lucida seeds are respectively 7.83 mm,5.87 mm and 3.08 mm,the grain weight was 59.92 g.2.A seed germination system was established.The M.lucida seeds were best to sow timely after picked up.The more suitable storage method is low temperature dry storage.The stratification treatment is beneficial to improve the seed germination rate and uniformity.The optimum germination conditions were 25 ℃ and 16 h,and the germination rate was 87.23%.The more suitable cultivation substrate is: peat soil,coconut husk: peat soil: perlite = 3: 3: 2 or peat soil: perlite = 3: 1.8 months after planting,the seedling height was 59.80 cm and 54.32 cm respectively,the seedling ground diameter was 14.38 mm and14.79 mm respectively,and the biomass(single fresh weight)was 349.11 g and 287.55 g respectively.3.Having a study on the large-scale container nursery technology.The more suitable cultivation methods of M.lucida were nursery wit controlled root container or non-woven bags container.The growth trend showed a "S" growth curve.The seedling growed fastfrom April to August,however growed slowly before March and from September to December.4.Having a study on the grafting propagation technique on M.lucida..A more suitable grafting method was graft by pulling the skin.The effect of Intrinsic grafting was the best,which scion began to germinate 30 days after grafted,stem segments without buds germinated the fastest.The germination rate was above 50% after grafted 35 days,the final graft survival rate was 81.25%. |
