This paper first reviewed the research status of automated irrigation and fertilizer application system at home and abroad,learned from the mature experiences and cases at home and abroad,and combined with the natural conditions of the special terrain,the drought and less rain in Xinjiang,summed up the technology requirements and design points of irrigation system in Xinjiang.Through the research on the automatic irrigation system project for the cultivation of sandy soil in a vegetable greenhouse in some village in Miquan,Xinjiang,a feasible automatic irrigation system for crops was designed and implemented.The source of water in the Xinjiang region is mainly composed of lakes and snowmelt,making the water resources deficient in Xinjiang.Due to the irrational use of water resources by Xinjiang's agriculture,the secondary salinization of soil is more serious.These problems have become the bottleneck hindering the sustainable development of agriculture in Xinjiang.Accompanied by the rapid development of agricultural science and technology and automation technology,higher requirements have been put forward for the timeliness and scientificity of water and fertilizer control in crops in Xinjiang.Under the above background,this paper has carried on the thorough research to the water-fertilizer combination proportion as well as the fertilization irrigation time control,designed and realized the automatic irrigation system of the crop,applied to the water and fertilizer irrigation of the vegetable greenhouse,and the effect of application is good.The specific work has the following three aspects:(1)Research has been conducted on the main research work of replacing traditional irrigation gradually with automated irrigation technology,and different technical solutions have been summarized.Combined with specific projects to achieve specific needs,and applied to the cultivation of vegetable and sand water and fertilizer irrigation,effectively improve the utilization of water resources.(2)This project presents a set of irrigation and fertilization device,PLC control system and sensor integrated irrigation and water automatic irrigation system design program,including the technical design of the fertilizer,irrigation and other aspects of the design,the design of the configuration control system,which finally integrate into a complete system.(3)A complete automatic irrigation system is implemented which can be applied to fruit and vegetable sand cultivation in facility agriculture in Xinjiang to abtain high yield and quality of fruits and vegetables.By analyzing the crop cultivation technology,combining the configuration design of the operation module in the control system and the process route to complete the overall integration of the system,this system can effectively improve the efficient management of water and fertilizer technology.
