Facility agriculture is an important part of modern agriculture, and the controllable agricultural biology environment technology, the key technology of which is gaining, transmitting, processing and controlling the signal of environment parameter and propagation physiological-parameter, is the key of facility agriculture. With the intensive and scale development of agriculture facility and the advancement of their intelligent management, modern greenhouse technology is witnessing a trend of integration of greenhouse production and its management through remote communication. This paper is for designing the hardware and software of the networked module of smart sensors, combining with the 2005 science and technology project for Zhejiang Province "the research for the key technology of the low cost and applicable environment measurement-control system based on embedded technology in facility agriculture".In this paper, introduce the current situation of facility agriculture and the measurement-control system in the greenhouse both domestic and oversea, and discusse 4 kinds of modes of the measurement-control system in greenhouses: IPC, PLC, DCS, FCS, analyzing their respective advantages and disadvantages. Bring up the research for designing the networked module of measurement-control system in greenhouses based on the IEEE 1451 Standard smart sensors;introduce the IEEE 1451.1 and the IEEE 1451.2 Standard, and put out the overall frame of smart sensors based on the IEEE 1451 Standard and how to achieve the plug-and-play function for sensors;design the hardware of networked module for smart sensors, including the control module of PIC MCU and the network communication module;also design the software of the module;the function of the networked module based on Web browsers of the system is achieved;at last summarize the paper, and discusse the application prospect of this design.
