In recent years,the planting industry of chili peppers has been developing rapidly in hexi corridor of gansu province.Currently,the planting area is constantly expanding.And manual picking pepper by human is not able to adapt to the present development situation,due to the labor shortage in the busy farming season,autumn labor cost also will increase,so urgently needed research pepper harvest mechanization operation.The research on agricultural machinery is still at a very early stage due to the relatively late start of China's equipment manufacturing industry and developed countries such as Europe and the United States.Domestic existing pepper harvest machinery is not suitable for in the hexi corridor in gansu province pepper planting patterns,and the domestic research and development of hot pepper harvest machinery also has some problems,after inspection of the relevant experimental data and related experiments results,found that the main problems are: already pick the fruit contains more pepper stem,pepper and some have broken,attached to the stem after picking some chili not picked,chili harvest after the economic loss is larger.In this paper,through the hot pepper harvest machinery at home and abroad related research is conducted with the,according to the planting patterns in the hexi corridor in gansu province line pepper line and physical and mechanical properties of hot pepper,designed a small spring-tooth chili harvester.Meanwhile,based on Solidworks modeling software,the finite element analysis software is used to analyze the components of pepper harvester.The reasonable structure parameters and motion parameters are determined by the test of the prototype and the picking test.
