Study On Flower History Of Guangzhou Prefecture In Ming And Qing Dynasties

Guangzhou prefecture is located in the modern region of the pearl river delta,which is subtropical,warm and humid,and suitable for the growth of flowers.At the same time,Guangzhou is one of the most important ports in China,with a long history of foreign trade.This area has a strong sense of merchandise trade.Under the mutual influence of objective natural resources and Commodity awareness sprouting,flower planting in Guangzhou prefecture formed a professional planting industry is very developed.There has been a professional flower market,and deeply influenced the Cantonese's life customs.This paper mainly explores the types of flowers in Guangzhou prefecture in the Ming and qing dynasties recorded in the local Chronicles,and a series of problems of flower processing and utilization,planting and cultivation techniques,and the commercialization of flowers in this period.This article is divided into six parts.The first part is introduction,mainly elaborated in this paper,the research purpose and meaning,research method and historical sources,as well as to the flower has carried on the review of academic history,future research directions are pointed out in this paper.The second part is the name and variety of flowers.The name and variety of the flowers were sorted out through the records of the names and varieties of flowers in the local Chronicles.The third part is the value of processing and utilization of flowers in Guangzhou prefecture during the Ming and qing dynasties.Mainly refers to the processing of aromatic plants into essence and the value of flowers as food.The value of flowers as food is divided into two parts: food and drink.The fourth part is the planting and cultivation techniques of Guangzhou prefecture during the Ming and qing dynasties.This chapter through the flowers growing areas to study the development of commercialization of flowers during the Ming and Qing dynasties.The fifth part is the research on flower industry in Guangzhou prefecture during the Ming and Qing dynasties.The emergence of professional planting areas led to the formation of the commodity market in the Ming and qing dynasties,and analyzed the formation process of the flower trade market by fully excavating the historical materials.This paper studies thereasons why the professional flower trading market gradually becomes the cultural custom activity in Guangzhou.It also explores the reasons why the professional flower trading market has gradually become the cultural custom activity in Guangzhou.The sixth part is the conclusion.
