The Integration Of Mutton Sheep Industry Chain In Anhui Province

The development of herbivorous animal husbandry is an inevitable choice to cope with the promotion of consumption,the constraints of the resources and the environment and the adjustment of the agricultural structure.The Ministry of Agriculture has issued Guidelines on Accelerating the Development of Herbivorous Animal Husbandry.The mutton sheep is listed as the key point of the development of herbivorous animal husbandry.Anhui Province also introduced policies and measures such as Opinions on the Development of Beef Cattle and Sheep Industry.As one of the dominant producing areas of mutton sheep in the Central Plains,the quantity and yield of mutton sheep in Anhui are ranked among the top of the country.How to further promote the quality and efficiency of the sheep industry is a subject worthy of discussion.Based on industrial organization theory,transaction cost theory and value chain theory,from the perspective of the industrial chain,analyze the current status and problems in the industry chain of mutton sheep in Anhui Province,focus on the value distribution and correlation of the various links in the mutton sheep industry,aiming at exploring the effective path and mode of the optimization of the mutton sheep industry chain in Anhui province,to promote the efficiency of mutton sheep industry and achieve the transformation and upgrading of the mutton sheep industry in Anhui Province.The research shows that the sheep industry in Anhui is developing continuously,and there are still many problems that cannot be ignored.Forage resources need to be explored and feeding techniques are neglected;There is a lack of special breeds for sheep and the breeding system needs to be improved;With peasant household as the main,management mode is extensive;The slaughter and processing level is low and the equipment technology is not matched;The links between industries are loosely organized and the degree of organization is low.Through cost-benefit analysis,we can see that the cost benefit distribution and risk benefit ratio of each link in the sheep industry are not balanced,and farmers are in a weak position in the market transaction.Through the empirical analysis,it can be seen that the production and marketing of meat sheep is highly integrated,but backward integration is higher than forward integration.This will require improving the internal structure of each link,giving full play to the leading enterprises,cooperatives,and other organizations,optimizing the government's service functions,and flexibly using vertical,horizontal,and hybrid integration models to achieve full-scale integration of the mutton sheep industry chain in Anhui.
