| Forest species composition is an important factor that affects forest quality and ecosystem stability in the region.Forest trees are the most basic production and living materials for farmers in forest areas,also the main sources of income for them.The main objective of the collective forest tenure system is to achieve resource growth,increase farmers’income,improve the.ecology,and harmonize the forest area.The rearrangement of the forest tenure system—the "three powers division" of forestry will inevitably lead to the economic benefits and material basis of the farmers.Changes in livelihood capital,such as social networks,lead to adaptation of livelihood strategies.There is a strong coupling between the reform of collective forest right targets and farmers’ livelihood goals.Livelihood strategy as a natural mapping of livelihood capital plays an extremely crucial role in the realization of the reform of collective forest right goals.Forest farmers with different livelihood capitals will choose different livelihood strategies,and they will have different measures for the economic benefits and ecological benefits of forests;the economic benefits and ecological benefits formed by planting different forest species are not the same,plus the difference in planting costs has led to differences in forestry farmers’ choices for planting.Therefore,it is of practical and theoretical significance to accurately answer questions such as "What are the effects of different types of livelihood strategies on planting selection behaviors of forest farmers" and "What factors influence the planting selection behavior of forest farmers"?First,based on the theory of sustainable livelihoods and limited rationality of farmers’ behavior,this study analyzed the mechanism of different livelihood strategies on forest farmers’ choice behavior at the theoretical level.Secondly,according to the data of forestry statistics and field survey in Fujian Province,the present situation of the planting selection behavior of forest farmers in Fujian province was analyzed.Then,this study conducted a cluster analysis of the livelihood capital survey data of 493 forest farmers in 10 areas in Fujian Province,and divided the types of livelihood strategies of 493 sample forest farmers into three,and analyzed their basic features.Next,based on the partition results of the livelihood strategy type,different livelihood strategy types are used as the-key variables to establish the selection behavior model of forest farmers by using the Mlogit analysis in order to empirically test the impact of the types of livelihood strategies on forestry farmers’ selection behaviors,and explore other impacts on forest farmers and other relative planting selection behavioral factors.Based on the results of the empirical test,this study found that the types of livelihood strategies have a significant impact on the selection behavior of forest farmers.In addition,forest farmers’ dependence on forestry and understanding of forestry policies,as well as the educational level,the distance from the trading market,the regional factors and other characteristic variables will also have a significant impact on the planting choice behavior of the forest farmers.Finally according to the main conclusions drawn from the study,suggestions were made to improve preferential policies and harvest management to optimize forestry development environment,to promote forestry technical training and extension work and deepen the further reform of collective forest right system,so as to improve the diversity of forestry farmers’ planting options.the ability to adapt to the market and the recognition of "three rights division" in forestry,in order to achieve the ultimate goal of promoting the growth of forest farmers’ income,improving the development of forestry in China and the stability of forest ecosystems.of forest ecosystems. |
