The eggplant?Solanum melongena L.?is an important vegetable crop in China.Because of its rich nutrition and delicious flavor,high yield and considerable economic benefits,it is popular by the public.The cultivation area and total output increased year by year.People's consumption habits of eggplant varieties vary greatly in different regions,and the shape of the fruit top as an important commodity character of eggplant has been pay more and more attention by consumers in recent years.In this study,using dome material 283 as female parent and spiked material 284 as male parent,we got,P1,P2,F1,F2,BC1P1,BC1P2,six generations of genetic groups as materials.The measurement methods of fruit top shape were compared and selected.,The genetic analysis and the QTLs mapping of fruit top shape was performed.The specific results are as follows:1.The fruit top shape was measured by the visual grading method and the Tomato Analyzer software analysis method.In visual grading method,the eggplant fruit top shape was divided into round concave,round,blunt,and pointed four categories..People see and graded the fruit top shape directly.The Tomato Analyzer software analysis method imports the stored photograph into the Tomato Analyzer,and sets the top measurement as outcome.To obtain accurate fruit top data,fine-tune the vertices hrough manual detection is optional t,Comparing the results,it was show that the top shape data obtained by the Tomato Analyzer software analysis method is more accurate and more experimentally meaningful.2.The genetic analysis of fruit top shape of eggplant is controlled by at least two pairs of additive-dominant genes.And environmental conditions have some influence on the fruit top shape of eggplant.Compared the three separate groups of B1,B2 and F2,themain gene heritability was relatively high and stable in F2 group.were,and the selection of fruit top shape traits was suitable in F2 population in the breeding process.3.A high density genetic map was constructed with 4734 SLAF tag.QTL analysis identified three QTL locus for fruit top shape,QTL fe5.1 harbored on linkage group 5 between Marker1322249 and Marker2732214,positioning interval is 6.002 cM.Two QTL sites were found in the 10th linkage group,the QTL site fe10.1 between Marker897334 and Marker894480,and the interval range of 2.05cM,and the QTL site fe10.2 between Marker4365090 and Marker2070220,and the range was 3.05cM.
