| This experiment was conducted at the teaching and scientific research base of Hebei Normal University of Science and Technology-Hongshigou ecological leisure farm,with three-year old seedling trees and three-year-old grafted trees of Prunus humilis as materials,to investigate and compare the biological characteristics and fruit traits of five Prunus humilis varieties and grafted trees.Excellent plants were selected in the garden based on the plant growth status and also the fruit characters.According to the problems encountered in the course of cultivation of seedling trees and grafted trees,various cultivation techniques were studied,and cultivation technology system of seedling trees and grafted trees were also summarized in order to give technical guidance and promotion to the current production of Prunus humilis.The main results were as follows:(1)Of the five varieties,the variety ‘Yanshan 1’ was first matured on July 24 th,‘Nongda 3’ was the latest to mature on August 6th,and the maturity period gap was 13 days.The mature period of grafted trees was 1-5 days earlier than that of seedling trees,and the fruit development of grafted trees was also shorter than that of seedling trees.Both the new shoot growth curve and the fruit growth curve of Prunus humilis showed a double “S” type.The single fruit weight and soluble solids content of the grafting tree were greater than that of the seedling trees.(2)In June 2017,in the garden containing more than 30,000 trees cultivated with seeds of wild Prunus humilis,14 with good traits plants were selected based on systemic observation of each trees and fruit traits measurement,while Yanshan series and Nongda series were used as controls.(3)Five techniques of seedling trees cultivation,containing soil management technology,plastic technology,pruning technology,pest control technology and fruit harvesting technology,were investigated.And five techniques in grafted trees including plastic technology,pruning technology,updating technology,tree protection technology and fruit harvesting technology were studied.(4)Through one year’s practice,technical regulations for Prunus humilis seedling trees cultivation were summarized from the following 8 aspects,seedlings,gardens,planting,soil and fertilizer management,plastic pruning,fruit thinning and sparse fruiting,pest control and fruit harvesting.While the technical regulations for the cultivation of grafted Prunus humilis plants were summarized from the following seven aspects: establishment of gardens,grafting techniques,plastic trimming,flower and fruit management,soil and fertilizer water management,pest control and fruit protection and harvesting. |
