Macadamia are nutritious,but their shells are hard.The existing broken shell method has broken shell rate is not high,broken shell nuts is not easy to take out,broken shell broken nuts and other issues.In this paper,the nutritive properties of macadamia were studied,and the effects of three factors,including shell water content,shell orientation and shelling velocity,on the mechanical properties of macadamia nuts were studied.Through the analysis of the test data,macadamia nut shell moisture content and the direction of the two factors of its shell broken shell impact significantly.The impact of broken shell loading speed on its shell is also significant,but less than the former two.Test data show that the macadamia along the umbilical pressure to the more likely to shell,along the umbilical pressure to reduce the shell to the maximum required force.The study provides a theoretical basis for the development of macadamia shell breaking machine. |
