A large number of studies have shown that sponins have the biological activity on lipid metabolism and decrease the cholesterol.It`s a new direction of developing new type of lipid-lowering drugs.In recent years,many scholars do a lot of research on lipid metabolism on hens.This article was conducted to investigate effect of adding different levels alfalfa saponins on performance,egg quality,hematological profiles and lipid metabolism of laying hens.The details are as follows:Exp.1: A total of 160 Hy-Line brown shell laying hens between 56 and 63 weeks of age were assigned to four treatment diets groups with five replicates of 10 chickens.After 8 weeks of dietary supplementation,incremental dietary 240mg/kg ASE group significantly increased(p<0.05)egg weight in 6w.Moreover,feed conversion rate was decrease in some way,especially 240mg/kg ASE group significantly decrease in 2w,4w and 8w.Supplementation with ASE has an effect on egg quality,haugh unit has increased in a certain extent,the yolk color deepened than control group.In the late of experimental,the strength of eggshell was significantly higher than control group.From serum index measured,ASE could decrease cholesterol and triglycerides.Exp.2: Effect of adding different levels alfalfa saponins on m RNA expression of HMGCR?ACC?FAS?SREBP1?CYP7A1?PPAR?and CPT-? in liver.The experimental animal are all the same with Exp 1.The results showed that:(1)Diary suppmentation with ASE,the express of HMGCR in all the experimental treatment group were decreased,treatment group ? and ? significantly decreased.(2)After feeding ASE,the express ofACC and FAS were decreased in liver,especially in treatment group ? and treatment ? group.(3)Compared with the control group,the express of SREBP-1 were all significantly decreased,no difference among the treatment group.(4)Diary suppmentation with ASE,he express of CYP7A1 in all the experimental treatment group were increased,especially in treatment I and ? significantly increased.(5)The express of CPT-? in liver significantly decreased in treatment group I,and have no effect in the other treatment group.(6)Diary suppmentation with ASE,the express of PPAR ? significantly increased in treatment group ?.Compared with the other two treatment group,the express of PPAR?also significantly increased in treatment group ?.
