| This paper takes the activation and regeneration of urban abandoned railway sections as the research theme.Through studying the domestic and foreign urban abandoned railway section reconstruction case projects,it comparatively summarizes the background,the types of reform modes and their design methods.Based on this,taking the Zhonghuamen Railway Station in Nanjing as the design object,the potential advantages in the site are deeply explored,so as to realize the effective use of resources and continue the site’s cultural memory.The research framework of this article mainly covers four chapters: The first chapter is the introduction.It first elaborates the development background of the abandoned railway section,clarifies the existing problems and the necessity of regeneration.The second chapter focuses on the case studies of successful practices at home and abroad,conducts in-depth analysis of its background conditions,design methods and social impact.According to the focus of its reuse direction,it is summarized into six transformation models-urban park type and historical memorial Type,sightseeing experience type,commercial development type,multiple sharing type and track updating type.It further summarizes the space activation and reorganization strategy of the abandoned railway section,and discusses the transformation method of the abandoned railway section from three perspectives: vertical space,horizontal space,and nodal space.Chapter 3 selects typical abandoned railway plots,taking the Zhonghuamen Railway Station and its surrounding plots in Nanjing as the design objects.Firstly,through the texture evolution analysis method,the historical memory and its material carriers in the site are deeply explored,and secondly through the plots History,analysis of current conditions,summed up the core problems of the site block of Zhonghuamen Railway Station,so as to further clarify the transformation and positioning of the block.The fourth chapter is to creatively propose three major strategies for coping with the core problems of field investigation and drawing induction.From the three perspectives of spatial strategy-focusing on spatial integration,cultural strategy-focusing on historical memory issues,and ecological strategyfocusing on landscape fusion,the overall layout of the site,public space system,and node relics were transformed and updated Activate abandoned railway plots in a “point and line” way,and look forward to stimulating the rejuvenation of the site.The whole thesis contains about 26000 words,65pictures and charts. |
