Recently,tremendous progress has been made in the research on space information networks,and its architecture system has become more and more variable,and the network scale has also become larger and larger,so more low-cost,flexible,and highfidelity experiments are needed to verify theoretical research.However,due to the high cost and high risk of real space experiments,it is difficult to establish a large-scale testbed composed of real space nodes.Therefore,it is very important to test and verify the performance of the space information networks through the emulation platform.A semi-physical emulation platform for space information networks was built in my laboratory,which can truly simulate the characteristics of links,nodes,and topology.In view of the deficiency of the emulation platform in terms of traffic generation,a multiservice traffic generation system dedicated for emulation of space information networks is proposed in this paper.This paper proposes a traffic generation system suitable for space information networks,which has the characteristics of scale and flexibility.The traffic generation system is composed of traffic generation nodes,SDN switches,and SDN controller.Through the business traffic generation function,the simulation of business scenarios is realized,including remote sensing satellite service,voice service,video service and HTTP service.Through the flow table entry control of the SDN controller and the lightweight deployment of Docker nodes,a large number of receiving and sending nodes in a large-scale network are flexibly variable.Through the network protocol conversion function,the decoupling of the traffic generation system and the simulation network can be achieved,it can support the simulation scenario access of multiple network protocols.Users can initiate traffic generation tasks by entering parameter configuration files,and automate the process by analyzing programs.After verification experiments and emergency scene tests,it is shown that the traffic generation system in this paper can be applied to the emulation platform of space information networks.And it has certain reference significance for the subsequent traffic generation system for emulation of space information networks and business traffic research.
