BIM(Building Information Modeling)technology is an intelligent multi-dimensional working mode.In recent years,its application in the field of building construction has tended to be mature and gradually promoted in the field of bridge and road,but it is not perfect.For example,the support of BIM core software for bridge structure analysis is very limited.For example,the calculation module in Revit Structural is only limited to the simple calculation of building structure engineering,which can't meet the calculation requirements of bridge structure.At present,the common practice is to refound new models and calculate the general calculation software for bridge structures(such as MIDAS/CIVIL),which will not only increase the workload,but also can't update the data effectively,thus limiting the application of BIM in the field of bridge.This paper considers the shortcomings of BIM technology in the field of bridge application,and discusses the application development of finite element analysis of bridge structure on BIM platform.The following explores the application of BIM technology in bridge engineering from three aspects:(1)Through literature review and research,we choose the appropriate BIM software as the creation platform of the bridge BIM model in this study.Based on the research,a parametric design process of bridge BIM with Revit as the core three-dimensional software modeling is proposed.On this basis,the Revit family library of box girder and bridge substructure are developed.(2)This study combines two engineering examples,one is to establish BIM model of conventional structure bridge system through parametric design of Revit family,the other is to establish BIM model of special structure bridge by using Revit + dynamo software,which highlight the advantages of parametric modeling.(3)This paper explores the application and development of general finite element analysis software of bridge structure(such as Midas Civil)on BIM platform.MCT files are compiled by parameterized data of BIM model of bridge to realize the interface of data sharing between BIM and finite element software,so as to realize finite element analysis of bridge structure on BIM platform.
