With climate change, global disasters occur frequently, and China is one of the countries suffering the most disasters, especially floods account for the largest proportion of all types of disasters, causing direct or indirect losses to urban or rural residents. Therefore, flood preparedness has attracted more and more attention. At present, most of the methods of flood preparedness are mainly through structural(such as dams, canals)projects to resist floods, and from the perspective of residents to take non-structural disaster preparedness measures(actions)to resist There is very little research on floods.Although some scholars have separately explored the impact of a certain component of residents’ experience or attitude on disaster preparedness from the perspective of urban communities, few scholars(especially China)have studied the experience and attitude of rural farmers in flood-prone areas. The impact of disaster behavior.Based on this, this paper randomly selects 6 villages—Xingxiang Village,Fucheng Village,Baosha Temple,Doupeng Village,Shizi Village, and Xikou Village in the flood-prone areas along the Sichuan River as sample points.Taking the farmers in the sample village as the research object, the household questionnaire survey is carried out to carry out in-depth research on the relevant measures taken by the farmers in response to the flood, and it is expected to guide the disaster prevention and mitigation in flood-prone areas. This article takes rational behavior theory, planned behavior theory, etc.as the theoretical basis,EXCLE and SPSS 23.0 as basic tools, and qualitative and quantitative research as the basic methods. The theoretical research and empirical research are combined with each other.Under the premise of controlling the socioeconomic characteristics, the use of Exploratory factor analysis and ordered logistic regression are used to explore the impact of farmers’ experience and attitudes on disaster preparedness in flood-prone areas. The details are as follows: First, establish an indicator measurement framework for farmers’ disaster preparedness in flood-prone areas and carry out measurement work. The second is the descriptive statistical analysis of the control variables in the measurement results, the exploratory factor analysis of the flood disaster experience and attitude factors and the impact hypothesis. The third is to use an ordered logistic regression model to empirically analyze the socio-economic characteristics, flood experience and attitude factors that may affect farmers’ disaster preparedness.According to the above-mentioned research findings: First, the level of farmers ’disaster preparedness in rural areas is low,and the proportion of poorly prepared disasters accounts for about 48.73%.The main measures taken by families for disaster preparedness include placing the flashlight in a convenient location.Second, the age of the farmers, personal income, and the number of income households all have a significant positive impact on farmers’ daily disaster preparedness.Third, farmers ’flood disaster experience and flood disaster attitudes significantly affect farmers’ daily disaster preparedness.According to the conclusions, reasonable suggestions are made for farmers to popularize disaster prevention knowledge, increase the confidence of the organization in flood control, guide personal negative emotions and carry out unstructured disaster preparedness,in order to enhance farmers’ disaster prevention and mitigation capabilities.
