User Requirements Oriented Household Air Purification Product Design

Abstract/Summary:
Air purifier is an important household appliance to improve indoor air quality.With the deepening of residents’ subjective understanding of air purifier and the change of objective environment,users produce more detailed demands.However,domestic air purification products are often unable to adapt to the dynamic and differentiated changes in user demands at present.In recent years,the smart home industry has developed rapidly,this advantage is of great significance to the transformation and upgrading of household air purifiers.This paper aims to combine SET analysis with analytic hierarchy process,establish user needs objectively,and translate user requirements into customizable properties,to meet the dynamic shift of important user needs in a customized manner,The details are as follows:First,through the collection of relevant information,investigate the current situation of household air purification products and environment.It mainly includes the comparative analysis of the working principle and technology of air purifier,fresh air system and air conditioning purification,and from the domestic and foreign(Europe,the United States,Japan and South Korea)product market comparison analysis,so as to put forward the future development trend of China’s air purifier.Secondly,on the basis of the above research results,in order to design air purification products to meet user needs,SET(social-economic-techenology)analysis method was used to explore the gap of user demand in the early stage.First of all,the society,economy and technology of household air purification products are analyzed macroscopically,then,through the design of a SET of questionnaires combined with in-depth interviews to summarize user needs,and translate user requirements into concrete design units,ensure rationality and feasibility of the design unit through user evaluation.Further introduce the analytic hierarchy process,select the key user requirements from several user requirements.Thirdly,design practice is carried out with user key requirements as customized attributes,including the construction of household air purifier to target the typical user population,analysis of key technologies required for product customization,modeling the hardware partm,CMF(Color-Material-Finishing),man-machine analysis,interface content information architecture,system service process building,Rhino modeling software,Keyshot rendering software and Photoshop software were used to complete the overall product hardware and interface design.Finally,summarize the research content and achievement of this subject.Theoretically,the combination of the SET dynamic analysis advantage and the objectivity of the analytic hierarchy process weight decision can effectively obtain the user’s key requirements,improve the efficiency of early development;In practice,taking users’ tangible and intangible key needs as customizable attributes help to meet differentiated user needs,also in line with the development trend of smart home,conducive to promoting the sustainable development of products.At the same time,the subject also refers to the limitation of space and time caused by the shortcomings and prospects.
