Study On Assistive Product Design For Autistic Children Under Family Intervention

In recent years,the number of autistic children in China has shown explosive growth,and the demand for rehabilitation of autistic children is also increasing.Scientific experiments have proved that early rehabilitation intervention can effectively improve the quality of life of children with autism.problem behaviors,and developing their cognitive skills.In particular,the family,as the most important part of early rehabilitation therapy for children with autism,is particularly effective.In addition,assistive products are essential in early intervention therapy.In developed countries,a complete system of assistive products for children with autism has been developed,and they have even established a system for these products In China,the design and development of assistive products for children with autism are still immature and lack a certain degree of specificity.Relatively speaking,the design and development of assistive products for autistic children in China are not yet mature and lack a certain pertinence.The physiological,cognitive,and behavioral characteristics of autistic children are unique,so when designing assistive products,it is important to take into account the following factors child’s own characteristics as well as needs in order to achieve the desired therapeutic outcome.In this paper,early family intervention methods are used as a guide to categorize the characteristics of currently available assistive products for children with autism The survey and user interviews were used to gain insight into the needs of the users and to integrate early family intervention methods.The principles and methods of designing an assistive product for children with autism are presented,followed by the practice of designing an assistive product for children with autism.A building block toy for children with autism to improve social,cognitive and cooperative skills.The product is designed for children with autism aged 3-6 years old and allows them to complete unitized tasks under the guidance of their parents.The product is a great way for children to develop their verbal and cognitive skills.The product is beneficial for children to imitate and learn while using the product,and to have a successful experience.It also helps parents to gain the latest knowledge by sharing the latest rehabilitation information through an offline application.Communication between rehabilitation trainers,doctors,and other parents of children with autism to ease the psychological burden on parents.It is hoped that this project will raise social awareness of early rehabilitation intervention for autistic children and provide new ideas for rehabilitation intervention.Slowly changing the intervention model from institutional to family-centred,so that children with autism can receive better and more timely care.rehabilitation,thus helping them to be able to integrate into society at an early stage.
