The proportion of children with autism is increasing, about 100 children will appear in an autistic child, they do not want to communicate with others, other people can not understand their behavior, which has seriously affected the normal life of themselves and their families. Now the etiology of autism is not yet clear. The treatment of children with autism is mainly based on rehabilitation education, supplemented by drug. Therefore, for autism, the early rehabilitation therapy education is very important. There is a lack of such products in the market,so the existing rehabilitation education product is in great demand.Although there are a few products designed for autistic children, they still lack pertinence.And the product is more based on skills training, paying little attention to participation interpersonal relationship between autistic children and rehabilitation educational personnel.Based on the physical characteristics of children with autism, social and psychological theory of performance data were analyzed and summarized, conduct research on the rehabilitation of existing educational products for children with autism and rehabilitation education method, provides a theoretical basis for the final design practice; by researching the demand of autistic children, teachers and parents, we propose introducing the participatory to the rehabilitation education product design. Through in-depth analysis of the relevant concepts and theories about participatory, author proposes many design strategies, such as, multi-role equal participation, stage multi-level participation, setting up an interesting barrier, imitating children and so on, and in the end verifies through design practice.Through introducing participation of children with autism into the product design,it can help autistic children break their existing systems to accept new knowledge and skills,transform unorganized behavior to organized behavior, improve the ability of sensory integration, control the emotions, cognition and social interaction,and many other integrated capabilities.It’s better for other rehabilitation education support staff to guide and help autistic children in the process.
