Research On The Improvement Of Product Development Process Management Of B Company Based On PLM

As the global awareness of environmental protection is becoming stronger,countries around the world have issued standards for vehicle exhaust emission limits,and gradually improve the requirements through phased implementation.In order to meet the government's environmental protection policies and emission limits,automobile manufacturers continue to adopt new technologies and launch new models to achieve the goal of energy saving and reducing harmful gas emissions.In the current situation,both vehicle manufacturers and subsystem components manufacturers are strengthening the development and introduction of new products to the market,so as to cope with the time limit of emission limits imposed by governments and the increasingly fierce market competition.The quality,price and market entry speed of new products are directly related to the R & D capability of enterprises.The research object of this paper is B company,which has a leading technology in the automotive power industry,and has a large market share.B company has a large number of R & D force,complete product R & D process and basic PLM electronic management system in major markets around the world.The purpose of this paper is to explore B company's R & D process management problems based on PLM system,explore its causes,and finally find the corresponding countermeasures.In this paper,the author studies B company's product development process,PLM system architecture and the integration of the electronic system and the R & D process,collects and analyzes the R & D time and cost data in the process,so as to find out the problems.And through in-depth interviews with R & D managers and employees to find out the causes of these management problems.Then,making the optimization plans accordingly,including the improvement of internal PLM management ability,the adjustment of management mechanism,and the coordination with external resources.Finally,through the follow-up evaluation of the effectiveness of these improvement measures,provide B company with a complete plan with implementation value.
