Design And Research Of The Main Building Of Lv Shuxiang Middle School

In recent years,with the development of economy and culture,the library,an important cultural building,is no longer exclusive to regions or colleges,and middle schools have gradually upgraded the former "Reading Room" into a“Library”.The school library is not only a place for students to learn knowledge and culture,but also a most representative building that displays the campus spirit and image.With the development of information technology,the traditional reading methods have changed.Different media provide a variety of information access channels.As a space for information exchange,libraries have more and more diverse functions,and they are also mixed.Becomes particularly important.On the other hand,the library of modern middle school often appears as the main building of the school,and also includes functions such as administrative office and information center.Therefore,how to deal with the relationship between the library's functional space and other functional spaces is also the focus of research.The objective of this case is to design a public open modern middle school main building that accommodates both library and administrative functions on the basis of thorough research.The case is located in the new campus of Lu Shuxiang Middle School in Danyang City,Jiangsu Province.The main building contains library functions and administrative office functions.Located on the central axis of the campus,it is the school's landmark.I analyzed the library and office building cases of similar scales,and on the basis of understanding the modern library and office building space design,carried out design research on the main building function,circulation,atrium,facade and other aspects.According to the previous research conclusions,this case has three main objectives: first,to organize the library functions and administrative office functions reasonably so that the function partitions are clear and the flow lines are smooth;second,the image of the main building should have distinctive features and be highly recognizable.Coordinate with surrounding buildings;third,considering sustainable development,the plan should reasonably control the cost and be economical.This article is divided into six parts.The first part is an introduction,which briefly introduces the basic situation of the project,the design goals and the formulation of specific task books.The second part starts with case investigation and literature research,conducts library design research,analyzes the functional layout,space design,and streamline organization of the middle school library,especially the atrium space and reading space,detailed analysis of the three Architectural cases: Stuttgart City Library,New Library of Aberdeen University Library.The third part conducts research on office building types,analyzes the functional layout,space design,especially shared space of office buildings in the new era,and analyzes two architectural cases: the main building of SDU Southern University of Denmark and Microsoft House.The fourth part introduces the background information of the project from the perspective of planning and culture.Next,the design process and research results are shown,from the site design,streamline design,functional layout to the atrium space,reading space,facade design,etc.to elaborate.The fifth part is the conclusion,narrating the achievements and deficiencies of this case and the outlook for the future.The last part is the display of results,that is,technical drawings,including the general plan,plan,elevation,section,and effect drawings of Lu Shuxiang Middle School.The whole thesis contains about 30000 words,121 pictures and charts.
