With the growth of the global population and the popularization of industrialization,the demand on energy is also increasing.At the same time,the lack of fossil fuel resources,environmental pollution and global warming result from their combustion have also drawn human attention.Therefore,to explore and develop new energy sources has become the focus of the whole world.As the largest mode of transportation in the world,marine transportation has the advantages of long voyage,large load capacity,and special transportation items compared with other transportation methods.However,nowadays,ship power is also facing urgent problems due to lack of resources.Among so many new energies being explored,electric power,solar energy,wind energy,ocean energy and other clean energy-based drive forms are gradually gaining popularity among ship power options.At present,the UK,the USA,Germany and other developed countries attach great importance to the development and application of new energy-driven forms of ships,and we are accelerating the development of new energy-driven forms of ships as well.Based on the driven form of ships,this thesis is about the application research of solar-driven and wind-driven.Energy utilization is an important means reflecting the energy efficiency of ship power.While considering the self-utilization of energy efficiency,energy conservation and emission reduction are important issues that should not be ignored during ship navigation.This paper compares the ship's solar-driven type and ship's wind-driven type with the traditional fossil fuel-driven type of ships,and uses MATLAB simulation to quantify the advantages of the former.The Environmental Protection Association of the International Maritime Organization has been committed to strengthening the global norms and standards of the Ship Energy Efficiency Design Index(EEDI).This paper analyzes the application of new energy on modern ships,and evaluates and calculates the solar energy and wind energy.After completing the above work,the ship's EEDI calculation methods,calculation parameters,baselines,etc.were studied and summarized in detail.So as to obtain the relationship between new energy and EEDI index,aiming to make the application of new energy the optimization of EEDI index make a contribution.In addition,the thesis focuses on the calculation of the energy-saving coefficients of solar-driven and wind-driven.In the calculation,various factors affecting the size of solar-driven energy,wind-driven energy and the efficiency of energy conversion devices are comprehensively considered,and finally solar energy and wind energy are drawn up.Combined with the energy-saving coefficient under the changes of various factors,the expression of the new energy-saving coefficient of new energy is obtained.To provide theoretical reference and data basis for the further improvement of the EEDI calculation formula,the value of each specific parameter is calculated by using software.
