Research On Variable Design Of College Students' Dining Room Space

First of all,the enrollment of colleges and universities is enlarging nowadays according to the study on the context of the topic,in which it can be seen that the construction of the dining room for college students has entered a new stage.In terms of dining room for college students,it is one of the most important buildings on campus,which is frequently used by students,while the vacation time is also relatively long with nearly three months in total.Besides,there are some limitations in the design of college students' dining room due to historical reasons,modern college students as well as teaching and research personnel have put forward higher requirements.Meanwhile,it is too single when it comes to most college students' dining room function,while the students' dining room is developing in the direction of diversification at present.In terms of the original college students' dining room in the space and time utilization,it is too single.In view of it,college students' requirement cannot be satisfied by dining room alone at present.As a result,this thesis introduces the concept of variable design,which tries to explore the college students' dining room through the variable design,so as to provide a certain theoretical basis for the construction of the students' dining room in the new campus.What's more,it discusses the corresponding scheme design according to this.Secondly,it carries out on-the-spot investigation of the relevant college catering center based on the collection of a large number of college students' dining room materials,books,literature,journal papers at home and abroad.In view of the problems existing in the students' dining room,it makes he relevant summary,which also analyzes the factors and causes of problems,which also carries out variable design concept exploration according to its architectural characteristics and types and proposes the variable design method for dining room space.Thirdly,it divides the students' dining room into space variable design and facility variable design through the research on the space function,structure,facilities and surrounding environment of the students' dining room.For the variable space,it is to expand the whole space volume on the one hand,which is realized through horizontal space expansion.On the other hand,it is to divide the space into different forms of scale through flexible space segmentation to adapt to the spatial arrangement and combination in different situations,so as to complete the space use under various conditions.In this thesis,it applies the variable design method to the actual project through the research on the variable design of students' dining room in the new campus of Changchun Institute of Technology.In addition,it discusses the spatial changes brought about by the dining room's transformation into a space for performance,exhibition andentertainment.Finally,it summarizes the prospect of the application of variable design theory in college students' dining room.
