Study On The Characteristics Of Traditional Settlements In The Mountainous Areas Of Eastern Liao Ning

The traditional village has been passed down for hundreds or even thousands of years.Its overall structure and space construction characteristics reflect historical culture,site selection,craftsmanship,architectural art and so on.So how to inherit the regional culture,build livable home and protect people's livelihood has become an issue that scholars keep discussing.This topic originates from the "Traditional Chinese Settlement Conservation Series" "Liaoning Settlement" of the "13th Five-Year Plan" national major publishing project.The article mainly studies the formation background,site selection,constituent elements,spatial form,roads,streets and other characteristics of traditional settlements in the eastern mountainous area of Liaoning.And based on the spatial characteristics of these sustainable inheritance,it proposes suitable methods and measures for rural protection and regeneration.This will provide theoretical guidance for the rural renewal practice in the region.The main content of the thesis research includes two parts: analyzing problems and solving problems.In the process of analyzing the problem,the author explored the impact of the natural environment and historical culture on the settlement,and summarized and interpreted the distribution of settlements,site selection characteristics,and unique elements.It also focuses on the analogy induction and discussion of the causes of the characteristic spatial form types,roads,streets,and courtyard combination characteristics.With the help of field investigation and analogy analysis,the characteristics of the space construction of traditional settlements in specific areas were explored.After extracting and analyzing the common features of traditional settlements,the article focuses on the macro level to propose methods for the protection and renewal of the overall pattern,features,and space form,and combined with specific settlements for application design,solved the problem of lack of theoretical basis and practical methods in the protection and update of settlements so that the settlement culture can be passed on.This article makes up for the lack of village research in the area.And by thinking about the laws of the construction of human settlements in the region and exploring the common characteristics,it provided valuable basic data and construction basis for the renewal and construction of the mountainous villages in eastern Liaoning.
