With the development of modern automation technology,every field of human life has been more or less impacted and changed.As one of the most important materials for human life,water treatment technology of water plant has also become a very good application scenario of automation technology.However,it has been a difficult problem in the industry to realize the automation of the dosing of alum purification and disinfection agents in the main process of water purification plant.At present,most of the water plants in the country still rely on artificial experience for dosing,which is difficult to achieve reasonable dosing according to the change of water quality.Moreover,due to the lack of necessary monitoring measures,the malignant production accidents of the water purification plant happen occasionally,resulting in huge economic losses and bad social impact.Therefore,it is an inevitable development trend to add agents to realize intelligent.This paper focuses on the dosing control system of the water plant in Zhuhai west district.Because of the characteristics of the dosing process,such as many influencing factors,non-linear correspondence,long time delay,difficult to establish accurate mathematical model and so on,it often causes problems such as incomplete purification or excessive dosing.The dynamic neural network control algorithm is adopted to control the dosing amount in the system,so as to make the water quality meet the production requirements.This paper introduces the technological process and basic principle of water treatment process.On this premise,the main objectives of water plant automation control system are analyzed.According to the system requirements and further analysis,the water plant automation control system based on ControlLogix is designed.The system is mainly composed of PLC controller and several industrial instruments on site,and realizes communication through Modbus protocol.In the hardware part,ControlLogix series PLC of Rockwell company,frequency converter of ABB company and pump of assoma company are used,and the control circuit diagram of main modules of the system is designed;in the software part,ladder diagram programming of PLC,configuration of anybus,design ofeasybuilder human-computer interface,etc.The construction of automatic control system for water treatment in Waterworks has been basically completed.Compared with the traditional water plant,the dosing control system can reduce the manual participation and improve the automation level,so it can achieve the purpose of stable control and reduce the operation cost,and has a better application prospect.
