With the deepening of reform and opening up the city with water pollutionproblems have become increasingly apparent. Harbin Municipal People’slong-term consumption of the Songhua River water pollution by heavy waterreach the standards for drinking water year round, people are a serious threatto production and life. End of1999, the Municipal Water Authority, led byexperts proposed to build Mopanshan reservoirs, off-site water, the people ofHarbin early draft solve the problem. Mopanshan water supply project on acity water main, both upstream and downstream flood irrigation of large waterdiversion project. With the conventional process combined with mechanicalflocculation, inclined tube sedimentation and the flap valve filter. Mopanshanwater treatment plant can provide the urban drinking water which can meet therequirements of the current water quality indicators.In this paper, the problems of conventional process in Mopanshan watertreatment plant were instructed, providing conventional process optimizationmeasures of each process. The optimization measures apply much better watertreatment effect than before. In the flocculation stage, the coagulation dosagecan be saved and the coagulation effect can be optimized by the optimizationof coagulation and the optimization of coagulation process parameters. In theprecipitate stage, the effect of precipitation can be improved by theoptimization of controlling mode in the discharge of sludge process and theoptimization of precipitate process parameters. In the filtering stage, thecurrent Mopanshan water filter water treatment process in the need forautomated cleaning and problems are described, with the actual way theexisting self-cleaning problems were analyzed and categorized, summarizedand made the transformation views and specific implementation plan. Basedautomation technology, re-cleaning filter arranged on the basis of the queue,we propose a parallel filter cleaning solution, clean the filter to improve beforethe emergence of serial high-and time-consuming disadvantage and improvethe efficiency of filter cleaning, water so as to enhance economic and socialbenefits for the well-being of the people.By the comparison of measured water quality indicators before theoptimization and after the optimization, identifying the consequence of entireoptimization process. Through the comparison of the economic benefits beforethe optimization and after the optimization, determining the feasibility of theentire optimization process in practically production. This paper not only instructs optimization process in the Mopanshan water treatment plant, butalso played a guiding role for the follow-up optimization process of otherwater treatment plant.
