After hundreds of years of development,traditional Chinese academies have presented an organic,natural,implicit and calm space context rich in humanistic ideas,which has brought symbolic significance to the public space.Taking "qinglong academy" as the carrier,we inherit the essence of traditional education through the expression of traditional academy space form,the presentation of architectural form and the transmission of function,and shape the cultural architecture with humanistic spirit.The particularity lies in that "qinglong academy" also serves as the "name card" of the local tourism area for external publicity.Its mission is not only to teach and educate people,but also to play an important role in the dissemination and display of culture.The main purpose of this paper is to extract design elements from traditional Chinese academies,inherit the characteristics of academies from spatial structubased on the layout of architectural groups,and complete the translation of modern buildings based on traditional academies with unique cultural symbols.This study studied the cases of traditional academies through literature,and then sorted out and analyzed them.Through field research,the project base was mastered and local customs were understood.The comparative analysis method is adopted to conduct in-depth research and discussion,reach the preliminary design scheme,and finally finalize the final draft.The main contents of the study include:1)analyze the background and significance of this research;2)The significance of college tourism culture development and its benefits to local tourism development are analyzed.3)The spatial form,architectural form and function of traditional academies are analyzed.4)integrate traditional academies with local vernacular elements for design.This study takes traditional Chinese academies as the object,expecting the results to be the inheritance of "academies" space And development to provide assistance for the construction of regional,local contemporary architectural design practice to bring inspiration.
