Exploration And Practice On Service Design Of Pet Hospital Waiting Room

With the improvement of people's living standard,pets have gradually become people's closer companion.As a part of pet hospital,waiting room is an important space to show the brand image of pet hospital and measure the service level of the hospital.Service design integrates some design theory system and methods,such as experience design,interaction design,product design,graphic design.In order to create new value,discover and redesign all kinds of tangible and intangible contact point in a system way.Service design is an interdisciplinary subject,and a new way of thinking.Its core feature is use "contact point" of the service system as clues,discover the relationship among some elements,such as people,things,behavior,the environmental and the social.We regard user experience as center strive to create a better user experience and value.The introduction of service design concept into the waiting room design of pet hospitals have important significance to the development of pet hospitals,and also conforms to the overall trend of the currently market development of pet hospital.This thesis based on comprehending domestic and foreign studies about service design,investigate current market situation of pet hospital by in-depth interviews practical investigation and questionnaire survey.Then analysis the problem of pet hospital waiting room in service design,summary the method and principle of pet hospital waiting room service design.This thesis combined "implanted brand" "follow users psychological" "form a unique individual character" principle,practice in Huazhong agricultural university animal hospital waiting room to verify its rationality,hope to provide reference for the similar institutions.
