As the infrastructure of urban economic development in China,railway is always in the leading position in the whole transportation system.However,with the rapid development of urbanization,the use value of urban land is getting higher and higher,and people's demand for scientific,reasonable and healthy urban landscape is becoming more and more obvious.In many cities,the railway is forced to be abandoned due to the reduction of carrying capacity or a large number of migration,some of which are moved to flat land for real estate,commercial and entertainment projects,some of which are idle and gradually become miscellaneous grass Students,lack of negative space for management.Therefore,in the face of the gray space formed by the railway in the city,the government is starting to renovate.In order to actively respond to the call of the government and support the construction of Wuhan as a national central city,in the context of Wuhan's goal of building a world-class urban public space through the Yangtze River main axis and building the North Ring Road of Wujiu railway in the riverside core area of the Yangtze River main axis into a world-class urban public space,the railway explores the current situation and existing problems of the gray space formed by the railway in the urban landscape construction planning,puts forward the concept of urban railway cultural landscape,points out the main causes of the damage caused by the original landscape,The method of biological design has been transformed into a city landscape with three benefits of vision,culture and ecology.This paper firstly puts forward the research background,content and significance of urban legacy railway landscape regeneration as well as the research status at home and abroad,then summarizes the theoretical research process of urban railway cultural landscape regeneration design at home and abroad,summarizes the theoretical support,and establishes the theoretical system frame of railway landscape regeneration and the regeneration design countermeasures of legacy railway.Second through to the legacy of wuhan railway's development history and the SiMeiTang park road north of the analysis of the status quo to find legacy railway location problems,finally to SiMeiTang railway cultural park regeneration design as the object of practice solving problems,strive to build a set of railway culture is given priority to,set experience,display,and modern leisure entertainment for the integration of contemporary urban park,in order to broaden the regeneration design train of thought,cultural regeneration in urban landscape design for the railway related aspects,such as to provide reference experience.
