“Jin-Meng Former Grain Oil Trade Route” refers to a commercial road from The Period of Qianlong to the Period of the Republic of China,starting from Jilantai salt pond and following the Yellow River to Qikou.Through this trade road,a large number of grains,oil,salt,alkali,fur and other goods from Inner Mongolia area along the Yellow River into the northwest central area.This commercial road not only occupies an important position in the socio-economic development history of Shanxi and Inner Mongolia,but also has an important influence on the formation and development of surrounding villages.This article to between 1638 and 1980,“Jin-Meng Former Grain Oil Trade Route”Inner Mongolia section of the traditional villages as a case study,by using the literature research method,field research method,sociology study method,inductive deductive method and other research methods,in the form of quantitative and qualitative research to show the types and spatial features of traditional villages in the Inner Mongolian Section of "Jin-Meng Former Grain Oil Trade Route",and hope to provide some reference for the construction of the traditional villages.The main contents of the study include: first,the judgment of “Jin-Meng Former Grain Oil Trade Route” as a cultural route.According to the evaluation standard of the cultural route,“Jin-Meng Former Grain Oil Trade Route”should be a compound cultural route which mainly focuses on the commercial culture and integrates the military culture,religious culture and immigrant culture.The judgment of the cultural route of “Jin-Meng Former Grain Oil Trade Route” is helpful to understand the historical and cultural background of the formation of traditional villages in Inner Mongolia and to integrate the sustainable development of traditional village culture in this region in the future.Second,analyzing the development status of traditional villages of the “Jin-Meng Former Grain Oil Trade Route”,in Inner Mongolia between 1638 and 1980.Through the combination of quantitative and qualitative methods,it presents the active and three-dimensional development process of traditional villages in the Inner Mongolia section of “Jin-MengFormer Grain Oil Trade Route”,and reveals the old road and traditional villages always develops one after another in the same time and space.Thirdly,based on the records,the traditional villages of “Jin-Meng Former Grain Oil Trade Route” in Inner Mongolia section is divided into four categories,respectively as the religious drove by villages,the military auxiliary villages,the driven trade villages,and provide abundance of goods supply lines of subsistence type village.Meanwhile analyzing and the reasons for the formation of four types of village,specific types and features of the different type villages,so that the future research in a specific range,,it can take different protection methods and techniques to solve different types of problems existing in the villages.Fourthly,as an important material and intangible cultural carrier on the cultural route,the village space will be different due to different degrees of cultural influence.In order to improve the accuracy of the research,the selection of typical in the area of the village type analysis,clear all kinds of village in the overall layout,and religious space,folk space,storage space,living space,the production space and ancillary space layout characteristics of the feature space,so that the late for realizing the construction of the villages has certain relevance.As a cultural landscape,traditional villages are one of important parts of the cultural heritage system.How to effectively inherit and carry forward traditional culture and realize the activation and utilization of village cultural heritage value is one of the main directions of village development research.Based on the vast rural areas in China,and profound research field of the development of traditional villages,the study of traditional villages in the Inner Mongolia section of “Jin-Meng Former Grain Oil Trade Route” in this paper is superficial,and if it can achieve the effect of attracting jade,it is also one of the research significance.
