Urban Deciduous Landscape Preference

Deciduous landscape is an ornamental autumn scene formed by falling leaves.It has attracted increasingly higher attention,but relevant researches have just started.This study invests the deciduous landscape in the campus of Northwest A&F University.On the one hand,we chose 40 pictures as evaluation objects,adapt the method of Likert scale questionnaire and gave them out in 2018,analyzes data with SPSS17.0.Then we extracted factors that affect the deciduous landscape to analyze the landscape preferences of different people.On the other hand,traditional phenological observation method?sample method and LAI-2200 C measurement were used to investigate the deciduous landscape species in the campus,and the deciduous period?ornamental period and the warranty of each plant were recorded,so we can find out the most suitable tree species for deciduous landscape with systematic evaluation.Based on the analysis and research of the current situation of deciduous landscape,this paper suggests some suggestions for the construction of deciduous landscape to provide reference and guidance for the future construction.The results show that:1)People generally can accept and prefer the deciduous landscape,but they do not have enough recognition.2)The factors that affect the preference of deciduous landscape includes leaf color,underlay surface,planting method and leaf quantity,among which,the effects are all significant except for leaf quantity.People generally prefer the deciduous landscape with yellow or red pure colors,in large areas planting by line planting or group planting,falling over lawns,with rest facilities and large leaf quantity.3)Different people generally prefer deciduous landscape,but they have difference in specific preference or attitude.The differences are as follows:(1)Sex:female>male;(2)Age: above 60 >40-49 >50-59 > below 18 >30-39 >18-29;(3)Occupation: social >artistic > research > retiree > enterprise > student > technical > routine;(4)Education:high school > master's degree and above > undergraduate > junior middle school and below;(5)Income: 3000-6000> below 3000 >6000-10000> above 10000.4)In the future,deciduous landscape can be fully considered,and deciduous landscape can be introduced into people's life to create different landscape in autumn.We should choose species with yellow or red colors as far as possible,like Ginkgo biloba?Cerasus lannesiana and Acer buergerianum,build a large area of deciduous landscape in the lawn,pay attention to the overall effect of deciduous landscape,add rest facilities such as chairs,and keep timely cleaning and maintenance.
