A Study On Overall Environmental Comfort Of Red River Valley Forest Park

In order to determine the best place and the best time for recreation,the overall environmental comfort of the forest park can be evaluated.Based on the principle of both feasibility and scientificity,air environment,acoustic environment,climate environment and health environment were selected to establish the evaluation system of overall environmental comfort.And in Red River Valley Forest Park,the 3 types of landscape spaces,including the square,the forest and the waterfront,were selected for monitoring and evaluation at 4altitudes.Taking OECI as the representation of the objective physical environment,integrating individual factors and social psychological factors,the study uses a combination of questionnaire survey and field monitoring to analyze the relationship between the three factors and comfort perception,overall satisfaction and behavior patterns.The results of the study show that:?1?There are differences in individual environmental factors at different times,altitudes,and landscape types.In general,the air environment in Red River Valley Forest Park is in the first and second level,which is relatively good.The acoustic environment is mostly in the third level,but the natural sound favored by tourists basically occupy an advantageous position.Despite the impact of the hot summer,the climate environment is still relatively cool.The healthy environment of the forest space is better than the waterfront space and square space.?2?OECI increased first and then decreased with time,and decreased with the altitude height going up.There were significant differences among the three landscape types,the overall environmental comfort index of the square was the highest,followed by the waterfront,and the lowest in the forest.OECI is extremely significantly positively correlated with SVF,PM₁,PM_2.5,PM₄,PM₁₀,TSP,Ta,and Tg,and extremely significantly negatively correlated with AC and RH,but not significantly related to NV and Va.OECI in the Red River Valley Forest Park is in the second level?0.2?0.4?around 8:00 and 18:00,which is suitable for recreation.The rest of the time is in the third level?0.4?0.6?.?3?The effect of objective physical environmental factors?OECI level?on comfort perception and overall satisfaction is not obvious,but its correlation with the length of stay is significant.Individual factors are generally not significantly correlated with comfort perception,overall satisfaction,and behavior patterns.But physiological health has a positive impact on comfort and environmental acceptability.Among the social psychological factors,the stronger the purpose of visiting the forest park,the more likely the human body will get a more comfortable feeling,the higher the acceptance of the environment,the higher the overall satisfaction with the environment.Different reasons for visiting will lead to differences in behavior patterns.?4?In areas with hot summers,more sheltered vegetation spaces and waterfront spaces should be constructed because of better OECI levels.In the planning and design of space,while focusing on the creation of objective physical environment,the social psychological factors of the target group?especially the purpose of public visits?should be considered as important considerations,and individual factors may be included in the secondary focus.
