According to the latest statistical data, the typical obstacle groups such as the disabled and the elderly account for nearly one fourth of the total population in China.A large number of urban public spaces urgently need to be renovated for population adaptability.Since 2017,the state has actively promoted the integration of education, stipulating that colleges and universities should actively recruit obstacle candidates and carry out necessary environmental transformation, but the traditional campus environment of colleges and universities can not meet the basic needs of obstacles, and its renewal and transformation needs theoretical guidance urgently. At the same time, university campuses have the role of environmental education, which can silently disseminate the concept of inclusiveness in the future generation. The functions of university campuses are complex, and they are called miniature cities.Exploring the inclusive renewal plan is conducive to further promotion.By comparing and studying the concepts, theories, laws and regulations, design guidelines related to inclusive design at home and abroad, this paper summarizes and analyses the physiological functions, behavioral scales and psychological needs of various groups, combines excellent case analysis, field research, interview discussion, accompanying research and other methods to construct the system and methods of inclusive renewal and transformation of campus landscape in China, with the intention of deepening. It provides theoretical guidance from two aspects of cognitive and practical guidance. This paper takes the campus landscape of colleges and universities as the research object, defines all kinds of obstacles, analyses the planning system, space types and various groups’ needs of campus landscape, then analyses the particularity of inclusive renewal and transformation, and summarizes the basic project characteristics. It is concluded that the partial transformation of barrier-free design norms in China can not form a complete system, and the obstacles are still unable to really participate in all aspects of University life. There is still a long way to go from the inclusive campus of integrated education. It is necessary to construct a systematic and holistic theory and method. In view of the present situation of campus landscape in China and the characteristics of inclusive renewal and transformation, three renewal planning strategies are put forward,i.e.,hierarchical transformation, phased planning and systematic planning according to the urgency of needs;campus landscape space is divided into seven categories: inclusive slow-moving system, square, core green space, waterfront landscape, historical landscape, sports venue, green space between buildings in living areas, etc.,and their respective discussions are made. This paper summarizes seven inclusive design principles based on the activities, space and site characteristics, and formulates inclusive design guidelines for campus space, which lays a foundation for the theory and practice of overall inclusive campus landscape renewal planning and design. Finally, based on in-depth interviews and investigations of wheelchair users, accessory users, hearing impaired people, visually impaired people and the general public on Tsinghua University campus,a six-month concomitant study was conducted to select a wheelchair user to carry out an inclusive landscape renewal plan for the whole campus, and to select typical landscape space for inclusive landscape transformation.Design,to apply and test the theory system and method of inclusive planning and design.
