The traditional electric power industry belongs to the basic industry of people's livelihood of the country,which is generally monopolized by the government,and it is also a key industry under the supervision of the government.With the development of market economy,in the 1990 s,China began to implement reform of electric power system.By 2015,with the issuance of document no.9 of the new power system reform,this further promoted the reform of the power system.In an orderly manner,the state has opened up the competitive pricing of electricity outside of power transmission and distribution,as well as the business of distributing electricity to the public.At the same time,the country vigorously develops clean energy,wind power generation,hydropower generation,solar power generation and other enterprises continue to participate in the power market competition,and occupy a certain market.Thermal power generation enterprises also continue to carry out industrial upgrading,so as to enhance their core competitiveness.In the face of increasingly fierce competition in the power market environment,how N nuclear power company to find its core competitiveness and achieve long-term development is a huge problem that N nuclear power company is currently facing.This paper firstly analyzes relevant literature,studies the achievements of domestic and foreign scholars on core competitiveness,and summarizes the concepts,characteristics,functions and other relevant theories of core competitiveness.On the basis of the theoretical analysis,using PEST analysis,Porter Five Model and SWOT analysis method of N nuclear power company's internal and external environment and its advantages,disadvantages,and so on and so forth relevant analyses,it is concluded that the existing problems in the current competitive environment,including the high operating costs,the lack of senior management personnel,weak market competitiveness,etc.Secondly,according to the N nuclear power company's existing situation,combining literature research and expert advice,this article selects the resource capacity,technical ability,operation ability,management ability,and the cultural strength grades and five evaluation indexes and 19 secondary indexes,the core competence evaluation system model was established,using the analytic hierarchy process(AHP)and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method to evaluate related evaluation model,it is concluded that the N nuclear power company's core competitiveness comprehensive evaluation score of 3.9594,in an average level of good.Based on the analysis results above,Suggestions are put forward for improvement in technical ability,talent management ability,marketing ability,cost management ability and optimization of incentive system,so as to further improve the core competitiveness system of N nuclear power company.Although this paper has made some achievements in the research,but in the research process,due to the limitations of research methods,the evaluation indexes of the selected N nuclear power company still have some limitations,and at the same time,there is no more in-depth exploration in the aspects beyond the evaluation system.In a word,the research of this paper not only provides feasible evaluation standard and improvement plan for the core competitiveness of N nuclear power company,but also provides valuable reference for the evaluation and improvement of the core competitiveness of power generation enterprises,which has important theoretical and practical significance.
