As an important part of ADAS(Advanced Driver Assistance System),AEB(Automatic Emergency Braking System)can effectively improve the driving safety of vehicles and has become a research hotspot.Research on the performance matching of AEB key control parameters is one of the core tasks to improve the AEB performance of passenger cars.Among them,the risk judgment parameters in AEB greatly affect the performance of AEB.In order to select AEB risk judgment parameters reasonably,this paper conducts a systematic study on the commonly used risk judgment parameters and compares the importance of each risk judgment parameter to the AEB performance improvement.First of all,in this paper,aiming at the single-lane dual-vehicle working condition,the virtual model of the two-car system was established in Simulink.Combined with the E-NCAP test conditions,supplementary working conditions and stop working conditions,a variety of risk judging parameters were compared and analyzed,obtained the risk judgments of the merits of the parameters.Secondly,based on Simulink and CarSim,this paper established the AEB system model and vehicle model respectively,and carries out the AEB virtual test analysis of the passenger car.Combined with C-NCAP(China New Car Assesment Program)test conditions,this paper conducted a real car AEB test and virtual AEB test comparison and analysis.The results showed that the proposed AEB and vehicle model were effective and can be used in the analysis and research of the risk judgment parameters.Then,the AEB and vehicle model were applied to apply the risk judgment parameters to the AEB system corresponding modules,and the respective triggering thresholds were adjusted respectively.The AEB performance was verified through the C-NCAP test conditions and supplementary working conditions.The C-NCAP score and related AEB evaluation methods were used to evaluate and verify the simulation results.The results showed that under the C-NCAP test conditions,the performance of the AEB system matched by the PRE is the best;the ETTC is the second;the THW,TTC,and RP were relatively weak.Under supplemental conditions,PRE can completely avoid collisions,and its matched AEB performance is better than ETTC,which is consistent with the theoretical analysis results.The innovation of this paper includes the following two aspects:1)Study the importance of various risk judgment parameters to improve the performance of AEB.The research results show that PER(Perceptual Risk Estimate)is a key risk judgment parameter to improve AEB performance.It is the most important to improve AEB performance,ETTC is the second,and RP,THW and TTC are relatively weak.2)The effect of AEB risk judgment parameters on the first stop of the front vehicle condition and the first stop of the rear vehicle condition are proposed for the first time.In order to avoid the false triggering of the AEB system,when comparing the importance of the parameters,the two kinds of conditions on the risk of determining the parameters should be take into account.
