With the rapid development of China’s economic level,forklifts have become widely used in infrastructure construction,logistics and transportation,and industrial production.The vibration and noise comfort of forklifts has also received more attention and has become an important indicator of the quality of forklifts.Domestic research on the comfort of forklifts started late,and the overall vibration and noise level of domestic forklifts still has much room for improvement.Aiming at the problem that a new type of internal combustion forklift truck has too much vibration and noise during idle conditions,resulting in poor comfort,this forklift test vehicle is used as the research object to carry out research on the comfort of hand-transmitted vibration of the steering wheel of the forklift and ride comfort research and optimization of forklift cab noise.This research guides the optimization of the comfort of internal combustion forklifts.Through the preliminary test,the peak and frequency of vibration and noise at the main target point of the forklift are determined.Through the TPA transmission path test and analysis to study the vibration transmission from the engine to the steering wheel,conduct steering wheel restraint modal test and simulation analysis,determine resonance at the steering wheel,optimize the structure of the steering wheel to avoid resonance,reduce steering wheel vibration,and according to international standards ISO-5349 validates the optimization of the steering wheel vibration comfort improvement.Based on the results of previous tests,determine the cause of vibration deterioration at the forklift seat and floor,calculate and analyze the vibration isolation rate of the suspension system,determine the optimization of the suspension system,and model and analyze the powertrain suspension system of the forklift.The stiffness optimization results were used to make suspension samples,and the actual vehicle test was performed to verify the vibration optimization effect,and the forklift ride comfort optimization effect was verified according to the international standard ISO-2631.Through the forklift noise test,determine the peak and frequency of the noise near the driver ’s ear in the cab,and use the sound intensity test to study the radiation of the engine compartment noise to the cab.It is determined that the forklift cab noise is mainly caused by the engine radiation noise.Other measures were used to optimize the noise of the cab,reduce the noise near the ear of the driver,and carry out a real vehicle verification optimization plan.Based on the objective evaluation parameters of the sound quality,the driver’s acoustic noise quality was evaluated to verify the driver’s hearing comfort optimization effect.
