As an important construction machine, forklifts are used more and more widely, and the accompanying vibration and comfort of use have attracted more attention.A complete set of comfort evaluation systems has been developed in developed markets and the user’s length of use and labor protection have been regulated. In China, the vibration performance of the domestic brand internal combustion forklift and the internal comfort evaluation system of the industry have certain space for improvement. The frame is used as the main structure of the forklift;the seat and the steering wheel are the components that directly contact the user.Their modality not only reflects the overall dynamic performance of the forklift, but also the preferred part for improving the ride comfort. It is also the key to control the vibration characteristics of the forklift. The excitation source of the internal combustion forklift vibration system is mainly derived from the engine and road excitation. In this paper, the vibration of a certain internal combustion forklift during operation is large, mainly considering the influence of engine excitation, and the system vibration and noise test and modal test are carried out.In this paper, the system vibration and noise test, modal test and analysis are carried out,and it has been introduced in the research of the vibration performance of the whole vehicle, but it is rarely seen in the transmission path analysis method of the internal combustion forklift. The transfer path and contribution were explored. Finally, the internal combustion forklift was initially optimized, and the optimization measures were verified. At the same time, new evaluation criteria were introduced to evaluate the comfort, and a set of solutions to optimize the vibration performance of the internal combustion forklift and evaluate the comfort was formed.
