Project schedule management is an important part of project management, directly related to whether the project can be delivered in time according to the contract, reflecting the ability of project management, but also affects whether the project can achieve the expected profits. Therefore, the study of progress management is very necessary and has very practical significance. With the rapid development of China's economy, rail transit has become an important part of urban transport infrastructure construction.YF station of metro line 16,one of the key projects in Beijing,is characterized by complicated construction technology, many uncertainties, short construction period and difficult control. In this paper, the theory of project schedule management is applied to decompose the work of YF station in the application of project scope management. The duration and logical sequence of each activity are determined by analogy and expert judgment, and the distribution matrix of project responsibility is determined.Gantt diagram and network diagram of the station initial schedule are used to determine the key path of the subway YF station project by forward, backward and total floating difference calculation.Thirdly, compared with the time limit node required by the owner and found the gap,the existing time limit plan is optimized by the time limit optimization method. Finally, the project is optimized based on the earned value theory.Analyze and evaluate the progress of the project.Taking the analysis and optimization of subway YF station project schedule as an example, this paper explores a set of possible ideas and methods on how to reasonably shorten the construction period of Beijing subway under the circumstances of tight time, heavy tasks and many peripheral constraints,so as to meet the requirements of construction period nodes.
